It’s so fun to use now! Especially when using contented usb to Mac. I sample with my daw and edit the grid in real time. Then when I’m ready I pack up and go sit and jam in private. These updates get better and better
When you find your bass (example) tone…you don’t have to use Skip Back….its quicker to press the Pad…then press Rec and press the pad you want it on and press Rec to confirm. It will automatically place that tone on the pad. Super simple.
Happy 404 day OG! Just wanted to say you don’t have to use the skip back to resample in sound generator. Easiest way is to just play the note you want, then hit record, then select the pad you want it on, and then hit record again. Using skip back works too but you’ll spend less time truncating and have a better workflow.
what a happy 404 day! i was checking all my gear for updates the day before but didn't see this one coming! wow! i'll be stoked for the ease of perfect loops (without thinking). and it's a synth now?!? i'm tempted to make a whole song/ep with only the new wave generator.
They just made this thing dangerous. It really feels like they had these features cooking but they were the type of meal that needed to slow cook. Being able to change the COLORS of the samples instead of the same thing all the way through is love!
It’s a nice addition to the MK2, but tone generator isn’t really Subsonic. Subsonic would make baselines out of your entire sample/chops if you tune the knob right. I still hope Subsonic gets added in the future (along with mono sampling).
@@Verysickbeats yea I subbed mad long ago cause I was gonna follow them at some point just annoyed with using it. Idk I used FL studio for like 10 years but no hardware really maybe why. I'll check if I ever get motivated again haha
oh man. I just did the whole update thinking it was the same sub base from the older 404s. It's not.... It's just a sub bass synth note. That's dope and all but I thought It would be like the older sub bass that you could add to the actual sample not just a note you can play.
