- High Volt Rc Shootout, great drag racing, meeting up with new friends and seeing old friends, The New York crew came down to philly to hangout, RCPhillydragster, Botajell, Carlos, Full Throttle Komson, Foundry Rc, Luis (RC All Scales), Brooklyn Large Scales and friends!!!!
What an awesome community you all have there! I hope you've been able to continue it during the pandemic!
loud annoying and leave oil stained parking lots. these people do not care about community, they like attention, hence the insanely slow and loud vehicles. any stock 6s buggy would dog walk that entire field. i mean why dont they use steam engines to power the cars? equally antiquated and awful. this side of the hobby completely eludes me. less power to you guys.

you dont need fancy adjustments when the throttle has 2 positions.
These cars got alot more then $1,000 into them. My guess is 2k or 3k minimum
For the distance they go and just for drag racing they don't need all the bells and whistles. spend that money on the car..

Amazing bits of kit. Them Top Fuel Drag rockets look so realistic. I never owned a 5th scale Gas/Petrol car... Only had Nitro. My last fast Nitro was a Schumacher fusion 28 Turbo with the 4.6 Picco engine.. That thing went like a Stabbed Rat!!

Just get a cheap one off amazon for like $145. I did,its a rock crawler/off roader all weather rc truck it goes up too 35mph. It's entry lvl just to get your feet wet.

Straight love in that type community. We used to go all the time in front of the melting pot, and it was an annual 2 day event. Drag. Track race. Whole 9.. dope video...

So you spend thousands for a off-road vehicle, thousands more to make it a dragster....instead of just buying a rc 5th scale dragster from the start....perfect logic, only in Philly.

Why knock them It's their rig let them do what they want. And them chassis work perfect for drag cars. They have more pavement around the dirt makes sense to me. I think its bad ass and what josh said i dont think there is much companys selling 5th scale drag cars.
