I don't think he gets enough credit for how much his playing style exudes so much personality and just contributes so well to Korn's music. Not only does his complex layering add so much depth, it's an absolute pleasure to watch him perform.
I agree 100% He's really breathed a whole new life into one of my favorite groups and he always looks like he's having a blast!
I watched him last year with Korn. I purposely bought tickets on the side of the stage so I could see him. Crazy good. He plays not only with band, but like he is at his own gig and having a blast. Like a metal Clem Burke.

I totally agree. There’s so many little things that he does in his playing that adds so much depth. A lot of little things you don’t realize he does unless you really listen.
The longer Ray’s stay is in Korn the more you realize how he was/is actually the perfect fit for Korn and their personality. Plus, he’s one of the best drummers in the world with a perfect sound. Put some respek on his name

I think he joined KoRn at the right time. He fits their newer more serious style now.
Ray isn't the typical "Rock Star". He's respected much more for his playing than his persona. I think that's great!
is not was.....Dave is still a better for Korn original sound IMO. I like both but Dave had a funkyness to his beats, Ray is more of a straight Rock drummer. Overall better but I still choose Dave for Korn.

Ray is such a musical drummer. The way he writes for this music just makes things jump out at you one second and hide on you the next. Love his use of dynamics. Always with a groove involved. Rays amazing he's hands down my favorite drummer 👍
I have never seen anybody put so much into a song but at the same time not overplay it’s amazing how he does it. He’s everywhere and it fits.

That ending though ... loved it. Ray is one of the most under-rated drummers in music today. He plays his instrument to create music, instead of just playing along with everyone else, and should be applauded for what he brings to Korn (and drumming)!

Man every time I watch this guy play I am completely baffled by what he’s doing always so complicated, but absolutely perfectly fits the song he is all over the place constantly I don’t think he plays a straight beat to save his life.
