    How high is the play deck and how old are your kids? Are they still enjoying it a year after quarantine? Thanks

      The play deck is 47.5” off the ground. Kids still love it especially my son! My kids are 6 and 4 so i think they will like it for at least a few more years!

    Thanks for this! Currently looking to get this set as well. We live in Markham and are curious how it has held up over the winter (so far)?

      It has survived its first year! I plan to do another video to see how it is a year later. I do however plan to re-stain it to help protect it longer.

      sorry I no longer have this play set. They were fairly sturdy for the first 2 years I had it. It all depends on how kids play with it and what kind of weather environment you're set up in. Cheers

    Andrew.. How did you drive the stakes in the ground.. I'm having a hard time with a 16 oz nail hammer... Did you use a sledgehammer? Which one do you recommend I buy?

    • @amayesin3459
      @amayesin3459  Před 4 lety

      I used a mini sledge hammer, apologize for the late reply. I crack a couple of them a little bit driving them into the ground.

      @@amayesin3459 Thanks for the reply.. I was able to do it with the same hammer once the soil got a wet after a rainy day.

      AM Entertainment & Promotions Yup, same here. I have a few wood pieces with cracks, but contacted the company and they’re shipping replacement for free. So far, no complaints!

    Do you find the bolts on the slide stick up too much?

    • @amayesin3459
      @amayesin3459  Před 2 lety +1

      No i screw mine in nice and snug. There is a raise lip around each screw on my slide though.

    What did you need to build it that wasn't in the box?

    • @amayesin3459
      @amayesin3459  Před 3 lety +1

      I used 7/16 & 1/2 wrenches, Philips and Robertson screwdriver, and a small sledge hammer. I also used my impact driver with sockets and screwdriver bits to speed up my work. I honestly Don’t remember what tools were included.

    Hey we are thinking of getting this we are in Ontario also. I have a 4 year old son and 10 year daughter, do you think my 10 year old will be able to use the swings , slide and monkey bar.

    • @amayesin3459
      @amayesin3459  Před 4 lety +1

      We have a 5 year daughter and 3 year old son. Depending hight and size of 10 year old it maybe good for a year or 2. Every child grows at different rates.
      I have gone down the slide and it was strong enough for my weight. Im just too tall. Of course i dont use it regularly.

    • @amayesin3459
      @amayesin3459  Před 4 lety

      Swing is a good size. I can fit in it however i am to big to swing on it. Designed for children under 110 pounds.

    Hi we got this set but are having really hard time in installation. Wanted to ask you how did you tighten the swing hangers and also the monkey bar has some screws which we can’t seem to fix

    • @amayesin3459
      @amayesin3459  Před 4 lety

      Hey, i used a deep socket on a ratchet to tighten the nuts on the swing hangers. Not sure i understand what you mean by the monkey bar screws. I found that sometimes i had to reread the instructions to understand them better. Best of luck.

    Did your swing beams line up when you had to insert the small block between them? I’m trying to figure out why my beams don’t line up to one another now

    Hi Andrew, what vehicle did you pick it up in? I have placed an in store pick up just now, will the box/boxes for in our sienna?

      @amayesin3459  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi Nida Ahmed. I used a pickup truck. The 2 boxes and one slide should fit in a sienna. You may need to remove your seats or if they fold into the floor. Cheers!
