This was absolutely delightful. It was so upbeat with that beautiful desert background. I could just imagine that I live there. What a great house and what a great couple.

What an absolutely stunning home. I could live there! But guys, they're not "island statues" - they're tikis!!! You've got a midcentury tiki house! Love love love!

So, I've known of Jonathan since Mean Girls but honestly, never really followed his career. I knew he came out a while ago but wasn't clear on who his boyfriend was, then came the proposal video. That really tugged at my heart strings and made me laugh because Jonathan was just filled with joy and excitement, but I thought that, that was just a moment. Little did I understand that, that dude is literally living out loud. He seems excitable, exuberant and just filled with such happy. There were a few moments in this video I just loved that had nothing to with the house. Although the house is beautiful, but what do you expect?! There was a moment when Jaymes brought out coffee and he said something to Jonathan about his cup being empty because he had enough caffeine and I just cracked up because that just told me how much he knew his man. I interpreted that as, "You've had enough but you're still a part of the group, we'll all enjoy and you won't be left out" how perfect was that. Then there was a moment when the wind blew a pillow off the couch and Jonathan was screaming about a tornado and Dorothy and Jaymes just let him go. There was a smirk on Jaymes' face which I took to mean, 'that's my man, he's having a moment, and I love him so let him go' total acceptance. Then last but not least when Jaymes was talking about talking to the trees, Jonathan had the same look, 'that's my man and I love him, he's crazy but he's mine'. I know this is long and sorry but when watching this clip it really gave me such a sense of harmony knowing all the marches and all the arguments and all the fights not just for equality but for a sense of peace and the opportunity to experience the wonderful beauty of joy with the one you love is very much well worth the fight and struggle. Good job boys.

This house must be in northern Palm Springs, judging by the amount of wind. We bought our second house in Cathedral City (south of 30th St) to get in a somewhat less windy area, but now I want to consider northern Palm Springs for when we sell our L.A. house and move everything to the desert. Coachella Valley is great for bicycles (in the winter) because it is so flat, but I can't ride one in the summer.
