    Thank you so much -- I got mine in time for Christmas and am already enjoying them both a great deal.

    Best video for partial capos (trust me I think I've watched them all). Extremely informative. Wouldn't mind seeing this guy tackle a spider capo with the harmonic mutes.

      I’m gonna have to look into these spider calls I keep hearing about. I love and use all these capos.

      @Louie O.Blevins Music they're pretty fun but they are not quickly used. It takes a minute to get it situated.

    Really like the cut capo...I never knew they existed! I'm not much of a capo user (just got my first one after playing for 25 years!) but this partial capo thing is particularly interesting... thank you!

    That intro was exactly the same as Willy Porter's "Unconditional"

      Exactly right Bill T. In fact you can sing most of the lyrics to this. Unconditional is one of the best songs ever, by the way!! Cheers! \=/\=/

    I own a G7th Capo (and love it). Now shopping for a Partial Capo and I'm deciding between the Shubb C7B or the G7th Newport - any input really is appreciated.

    Ok so I like (singing) in the key of A# but prefer playing in the key of C and G so with the drop D and regular capo, where would I place the capo(s)?

      I think if you put the partial capo on 3 and a regular full capo on 1 you’ll get the Bb key

    Mmm good vid but i use open tunings to add disonance with my chords not eliminate it... and i will use these capos for the same reason. Standard chords aren't the be all and end all - dont follow rules kids! Its how different and unusual sounds

  • @leapsplashafrog
    @leapsplashafrog Před 6 lety

    So confusing that you don’t call the notes what they are sounding as. Had to keep transposing the chords you’re naming! Otherwise really good

      I’m having the same problem. Can’t understand why he doesn’t call them what they are

      Look at the frets and know what note is at eCh fret. Knowing the fretboard helps.
