  • Welcome to the newest season of Therapy & Theology where we are answering your most asked Therapy & Theology questions!
Through, direct messages and comments on social media and more, Lysa TerKeurst; Licensed Professional Counselor Jim Cress; and Proverbs 31 Ministries' Director of Theological Research, Dr. Joel Muddamalle, collected your most asked questions. Now they're spending an entire season answering:
How do I combat intrusive thoughts?
What do I do with the anger I feel inside?
As a Christian, how do I respond when my family is split politically?
How do I talk about divorce with my kids?
    Are generational curses real?
How do I find a trusted counselor?
    And more!
Some episodes will unpack only one question. Others will be more rapid-fire style, where you'll hear multiple questions answered under one topic. Season 6 begins on March 4. So make sure you’re subscribed to see if your top questions get answered!

Hi there, I have a question that I’d love for you to cover on my podcast - Im currently in a relationship with a nonbeliever, and am finding it difficult trying to discern if our relationship is sustainable. We have had some discussions about faith, and he is open to the ideas of christianity, but he isn’t as rooted in the faith as I am. I know scriptures talk about not being unequally yoked in a relationship. I care about my boyfriend deeply and I do see a future with him, but Im struggling with these doubts and concerns. Any advice/insight would be much appreciated💛

If I knew your bf, I would advise him to run FROM YOU. The concept of "I know this, but..." will play out in every aspect of your life as a woman, including in your future marriage(s).
"I know my husband wouldn't want me talking to my old bf, but..."
      "I know I shouldn't get divorced, but..."
"I know I shouldn't spend money we don't have, but..."
And on and on it goes. I hope you make the right decision.
