how anyone can find fault with this performance is beyond me!! this is perfect, it's raw & real & emotional. seriously powerful vocals and who gives a f**k about the high note? i personally love the note she does instead of it? that way you get two versions of the song instead of a replica of the studio version
smashbyofficial ikr!!! Its so annoying. It makes me mad how these people can still find a way to criticise her! She already proved her worth but they still judging her after all shes been through! I cant 😭😭😭😭😭
smashbyoffcial Ikr like the ppl who only cared about her not being able to sing that high note and saying she can't sing are fucking blind cause she put so much love into signing that song
Kesha don't need to hit that high note to prove to everyone that she can sing. She did amazing on this performance. I am so proud of her! Welcome back Kesha!
Y'all don't realize how HARD it is to sing that note!!!! The fact that she was able to get it out at all, with all the power, is jaw dropping and amazing. It takes so much energy, power, and concentration to get that note out. Don't you even DARE give her a hard time for not doing it live!!! Praise her for being able to do it at all!!!!!!!!
@supersonic since ur a male ur probably singing in a lower key and also in this stage you can see she is trying to hold in so many emotions, while ur at home with a perfect condition, so many factors come into play when singing live, specially with such an emotional song like this, if u were in her position maybe you would understand better
In Phantom of the Opera, the lead sopranos top note is an E6 and for a couple nights they play something prerecorded, for that one note only, to give the actress a break. Keshas "whistle" (which isn't a whistle) is a whole step up (F6)which may not sound like a lot but when it's that high, even half a step is a lot. So to expect that from her all the time, is ridiculous.
Janelle P. True but she's performed this song live twice, that's not all the time. I'd rather have this version be put out for the studio version instead of something the singer can't perform. It would be like going to see Bohemian Rhapsody performed live when Freddy Mercury was alive and it sounding nothing like the version you fell in love with 🤷🏻♀️
We're talking about a single note here... She still shouts all the chest notes which are the main support of the song. I agree with you that it would be nice to see how high she can go live, but maybe give her some time to get used to being up there again. It's also pop... note skipping happens allll the time.
Cupcakes Roar People are saying that "Not being able to consistently hit a difficult note"= "Not being able to sing", which is the frustrating part for me. And I get what you're saying. She's been singing this song differently for her performances, which I understand if it's a little disappointing, but I appreciate it either way. I'm sure her performances of this song will evolve over time.
I've seen live footage of her hitting (not belting) a G#6 or A6 anyway, in another song. To me it's enough to see that she can go up there, whether she can fit it in a song in which she gets super emotional or not. She doesn't have to sing the song as the recording...
You know what makes this undeniably epic? It`s REAL. It's not an act. Its not a manufactured image. It's genuine human emotion. It's pain. And to take that kind of pain and TURN IT into something that strengthens you and empowers others is hero shit. I've always thought Kesha was talented and a gifted singer BUT THIS renews my faith in humanity. Kesha, wow! I feel like, everyone needs to hear your story AND THEN WATCH THIS! Like I said, EPIC!
This is a great performance.. those saying she is "shouting" obviously can't detect emotion in a person's voice. Those who are only focusing about one "high note" don't understand or care about the meaning behind the song and can fuck off somewhere else. She's an amazing artist and a great performer. I don't care what anyone says lol
Who cares if she didn't sing the hight note, what I do admire and appreciate is how passionate she is in this performance, that kind of passion is hard to listen in theese days
Yes she is very passionate but ok I am very passionate when singing and that doesnt mean I can sing, she is emotional and that is great but she lacjs the talent, being emotional is not always the same as being talented, she tried ti teick everyone with that high note and that is why she addedmit to the song, to make us all believe in a fake voice which made her seem like a great singer which clewrly ahe is not.
I actually like the way she hits the note during the live performances better than the one in the studio. She can hit the note, she even said it took her many tries to hit it. Atleast she's honest, let her keep working- she sounds beautiful
Leonardo da Vinci could have painted the Mona Lisa a thousand times, and every last one would've been different from the others. If you wanted to hear the studio version of a song, why did you come looking for a live performance? Most singers never sound as good live as they do on an album. There's a reason for that. And most singers can emote and connect more in a live performance than in a studio/album version. There's a reason for that too. Think about that before you post stupid comments judging talent that you don't have.
To the people upset about her not hitting the note, and her yelling some of the song. You're messed up. Couldn't you see how emotion she got? This song means a lot to her, it was her comeback, her one shot to win back fans and let the world know that she's back. And you all making a big deal about her singing is horrible. She has to try 10 times in the studio to hit the note and that note can ruin vocal cords. She's doing it for her safety! And the yelling part is just what she does in the studio too, she gets louder, plus she's extremely emotional in this. Just respect her way of singing her comeback song, because in the end Kesha will slay this world big time
The case of Shakira is in Don't Bother. She made that powerful high note on the last chorus, at the studio. In the Oral Fixation tour she don't hit the high note because it can produce an injury in her vocal chords.
the people commenting complaining how she won't hit her high note act like they can even come close to singing as high of notes like she can. just keep your comments to yourself and enjoy this beautiful strong women's voice.
Skylar Brittany darling we are not singers u dumb ass it's not our duties to sing but she's a singer so she needs to know how to sing instead of faking high notes
WOW Just Wow!!! I can hardly speak after watching this performance. She literally just showed her soul to all of us on that stage. I look up to her so much. She is the true epitome of a survivor.
the fact that people are complaining about the high note when the song is hard for her to sing live already as you can tell by the interview is just gross especially she sounds beautiful and the song is so much more than just that one note and she's very brave to bare her emotions for all of us to see already just let her fucking live
It's emotional song for her. If you can't feel the emotion from this performance and wanting it to sound perfect like the recording, then you have no idea what it's like for a performer and what a true performance is. I felt her pain. I felt something. That's what most artists want from their performances and their songs.
She was very emotional during her interview, give her a break! So what if she didn't hit the high note? It's her song, if she doesn't want to she doesn't have to do it.
In a radio interview Kesha told them that said high note took more than 10 takes... Also, she stated that she wasn't gonna leave until she had hit it even though it was a very complex note. She hoped she wouldn't get sacrificed if she didn't hit it in all the live performances, but eventually she'd do it live. And it's true, this performance sounds different than the usual, because she's singing with nerves, rage and anxiety all together; she even broke down to tears on the interview few minutes before her performances. So I understand why she sang like this... *Still a FANTASTIC live performance.*
For all of you saying she can't sing, she's shouting and she can't hit that high note listen to this. Kesha has gone through so much and this is a huge breakthrough for her since the trial. Just let the girl sing! No one cares if she's doing it properly or not, this is pop music, a form of entertainment, not a talent show where you can criticize her about her voice. Like the lyrics say she's been put through hell and flames, so leave her alone and let her do what she loves. Thanks! Love you Kesha, wonderful song and performance
This song is very inspiring to me. I am glad that you have found the courage to face the monsters in your life! He may not have to answer for his wrong doing today, but what's in the dark always come to the light! Kesha, I hope others find your courage to step up and face this monster because you are not the first or last! In conclusion, keeping quiet...only gives him more power and ammunition to do it to someone else.
Wow what a world we live in. This song exists because of her god awful experience with that monster, & all people can go on about is that one note. Singing LIVE about a very traumatic experience that is completely personal to her must be hard at best. Alot of other artists are singing songs written by other people about experiences that dont belong to them, its easy to sound like a studio robot then. Maybe when she hit the high note in the studio, she can't duplicate it again. SO WHAT! Go listen to the single if it hurts you that bad. I applaud Kesha for this beautiful performance, i will be listening to this live version for a very long time. To all the assholes that felt the need to type negative statements despite knowing what this girl has gone through, give your head a fucking wobble. You are disgusting.
And those who dissed Kesha for this and other live performances of this song, when you are emotional the first thing that goes is your voice.... I don't know how she did it at all.... She has a brilliant voice and sound...
I've heard a lot of people say she would often cry while performing this song which is totally understandable to me, and i saw her singing this at the Grammys and it was heart-touching performance. But everytime i watch this performance and that sobbing noise around 2:48 i can't help it, it breaks my heart.
I loved this live version so so so much. You could feel the raw emotion in her voice. See the look of determination on her face. For her to stand up and sing that song (which if I was her I would never be able to do) in front of people is a scary thing to do. I am so freaking proud of her! I was honestly doing fine with it until she got to the end where she gasped. I broke down. I broke down because I realised that in that moment for her she laid everything out. She got through the song, and she got through the message. I look up to her so much because she is such a strong woman to even be making music again let alone showing her face to the public. I applaud her for doing so because she's showing us that no matter what you go through or how deep the wound is, it doesn't define who you are. You are whoever you want yourself to be, you just have to go out there and prove it.
CHILLS EVERYWHERE! God bless her for being so strong. I’m so in love with this performance and HER. She’s a blessing. Her raw voice and emotion is what MAKES her live performances.
I'm scrolling down in then comments and I see hateful comments about her not being able to hit that high note and they aren't true fans cause all they care about is that high note and not not caring about how she amazingly sang this beautiful song, like give her some slack she had to do 10 tries in the studio just to get that high note and also she hasn't been making music for 4 years and she might not have practiced through those 4 years so her voice is a little unstable too but u know what we true fans love that raspy voice of hers and her muscle in her vocal chords isn't used to doing high notes so of course she isn't going to make the high notes so easily, y'all haters need to understand that things aren't that easily to do so just stop complaining if u don't like it then don't listen to it and stop saying she's not able to sing cause she can sing she just needs more time to take her true voice in.
Give a girl some credit, please!!! She did what she could. You have to remember that you're not under microscopic and a lot pressure like her. Just stop all the bashing & enjoy the damn song! It's a fucking meaningful song. She can sing! Cheer!
I love how much emotion she puts in her songs now! People need to fuck off about that one note!! Her song isn't based around that one note like damn. Her songs actually have meaning not just a note. She'll attempt the note when she feels like it so fuck off and actually listen to the meaning in her song and stop worrying about that one note!!
She shouldn't do the note anyway, she's using a shouting technique which would harm her voice over time. She's actually being very smart by not recreating it.
Yes, I think the vocal damage can be life-altering. Adele may not be performing live anymore. www.theguardian.com/news/2017/aug/10/adele-vocal-cord-surgery-why-stars-keep-losing-their-voices?CMP=fb_gu
I am totally taken back by this performance. Her stage presence is second to none here. The whole crowd felt that energy, and the pain behind her voice. Truly a beautiful moment captured right here. So glad Kesha has faced her demons, and has opened up to help others. As someone going to college in the mental health field, I will always tell my clients to check out her music, very therapeutic.
Definitely my favorite performance of hers so far. I love this song and the fact that you know the meaning behind the song, makes you feel it even more. I did a cover and it would mean a lot if ya'll could check it out. I promise you won't be disappointed (I hope)
To be honest, I like the live version more than the studio version! Who cares about the high note? This song is emotional enough, and she is finally happy!
I love how when an artist doesn't sing a song exactly as it was recorded in the studio, everyone automatically becomes a vocal expert.
Kris Grill that's what I'm saying!
Kris Grill exactly.
As someome who loves music so much this comment is so true and spot one!! I've always thought basically the same thing.
Jesus loves you so much. God sent his begotten Son, that whosoever believth in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life
She will do that high note eventually and everyone will be shook ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 😁 keep sing #kesha love you
Aaron Hughes I said the same thing
i know she can do it, i've seen her doing it before
She said it took her several tries in the studio so idk
Same.... She knows exactly what she's doing❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Aaron Hughes No she won't. And it doesn't matter lmao
how anyone can find fault with this performance is beyond me!! this is perfect, it's raw & real & emotional. seriously powerful vocals and who gives a f**k about the high note? i personally love the note she does instead of it? that way you get two versions of the song instead of a replica of the studio version
smashbyofficial ikr!!! Its so annoying. It makes me mad how these people can still find a way to criticise her! She already proved her worth but they still judging her after all shes been through! I cant 😭😭😭😭😭
smashbyofficial absolutely mind blown too. One of the best and most raw live performances I have seen. And people are complaining 😂
smashbyoffcial Ikr like the ppl who only cared about her not being able to sing that high note and saying she can't sing are fucking blind cause she put so much love into signing that song
Well said...that was pure raw emotion.
smashbyofficial it's not about the high note, it's about singing. She suck compared to the actual track. Yuck. Y'all need to get your ears checked.
Kesha don't need to hit that high note to prove to everyone that she can sing. She did amazing on this performance. I am so proud of her! Welcome back Kesha!
Mr Introvert beautifully said♡
Mr Introvert amen !!!!!! I agee so much 💛💛💛
Mr Introvert but I want everybody to be shook about our queen kesha!
Mr Introvert so why did she record it then?
Mr Introvert ikr people say she can't but she's done it on live performance and people keep trash talking her
This song ripped straight through me the first time I heard it. She meant this in her soul. God bless her.
I practiced it 3 times and did it. Even though I am a male. I think I have a right to critisize her.
Okay practice again to see if you can do it. I bet you can't.
@@summi8254 You didn't read my sentence correctly.
HELL YESS GURL YOU PREACH

Her emotion and stage presence is goals!!!! She's so strong!

Everything that Kesha has gone through made her strong; what a powerful performance
Max Culley Yup 💛 Yup 💛 Yup 💛
I actually like the way she hits the note during the live performances better than the one in the studio. She can hit the note, she even said it took her many tries to hit it. Atleast she's honest, let her keep working- she sounds beautiful
yall are a trip, she is singing with her heart. I'm ok if she never hits that high note live. beautiful, emotional performance.
3:48 omg she was crying :’( 😭 And she STILL sounded good. True talent. I just wanna give her a hug
This is truly her best live performance

Kesha is awesome!!
2:10. The power, the fury, the vulnerability. This song is a masterpiece.
To the people upset about her not hitting the note, and her yelling some of the song. You're messed up.

Perrie's Sparkle
...exactely ... you can tell that she is still in healing process ...proud of her... she is amazing
The case of Shakira is in Don't Bother. She made that powerful high note on the last chorus, at the studio. In the Oral Fixation tour she don't hit the high note because it can produce an injury in her vocal chords.
Damn, her emotion shown at the end of her performance. So so so so so, raw! Beautiful. I love her so much.
This is actually one of her best performances to date if were being honest, she sounds amazing in this
She's so emotional, how do you expect her to reach that note? Anyway, it was amazing.
the people commenting complaining how she won't hit her high note act like they can even come close to singing as high of notes like she can. just keep your comments to yourself and enjoy this beautiful strong women's voice.
Skylar Brittany darling we are not singers u dumb ass it's not our duties to sing but she's a singer so she needs to know how to sing instead of faking high notes
jack mrad and you need to get a fucking job loser.
Keijon Ford lol what a good reply and a convincing argument
We aren't singers ass hat 🖕🏻🖕🏻
RHZ 8181 You don't have to be a singer, musician, or in a choir to know how to sing or hit a note that high.
I like the belted note more than the high note in the studio version
Me too.
I'm so proud of Kesha she looks and sounds great I absolutely love her
WOW Just Wow!!!
Have any of you ever had to sing a deeply emotional song on live tv and hit a super high note while crying? Don't judge her unless you've been there.
she held back tears and all of you discount her emotions for lack of a falsetto note. If you were true fans you'd look past that.
Best performance of this song
She was very emotional during her interview, give her a break! So what if she didn't hit the high note? It's her song, if she doesn't want to she doesn't have to do it.

Kesha can sing beautifully and who cares if she can't sing that high note... she sounds so beautiful just the way she is

The best belted vocal she’s ever done...
This is what heaven feels like . I love you Kesha . May god bless our soul .
She's so nervous! Awhh
I would be too if I was performing live.
The Legendary Movie Critic but she is used it
mohammed almohaimeed do you even know how long she was gone for in the music industry? Seriously she hadn't performed in fucking years
Adil Boughlala your info is wrong kesha actually preformed in 2016

My reaction was the same as Robyn's lmao Kesha DID that. Wow

beautiful
CHILLS EVERYWHERE! God bless her for being so strong. I’m so in love with this performance and HER. She’s a blessing. Her raw voice and emotion is what MAKES her live performances.
Incredible....such genuine emotion but beautiful pitch and control in her voice. Gorgeous woman.... I saw her in Holmdel
Am I the only one who don't give a single fuck about that note?
blackrainbow same!! I feel like some songs are just better when there's emotion and soul. That's exactly what Kesha is giving me-- soul and emotion.
blackrainbow seriously
Like LOL l don't see what the big deal is
honestly
blackrainbow me, I actually thought that the note was unnecessary
So emotionally powerful
My favorite song right now.
This song gives me chills. She has a beautiful voice
beautifull ❤️ def hear her nerves its shaky at times but i know its very emotional for her
I'm scrolling down in then comments and I see hateful comments about her not being able to hit that high note and they aren't true fans cause all they care about is that high note and not not caring about how she amazingly sang this beautiful song, like give her some slack she had to do 10 tries in the studio just to get that high note and also she hasn't been making music for 4 years and she might not have practiced through those 4 years so her voice is a little unstable too but u know what we true fans love that raspy voice of hers and her muscle in her vocal chords isn't used to doing high notes so of course she isn't going to make the high notes so easily, y'all haters need to understand that things aren't that easily to do so just stop complaining if u don't like it then don't listen to it and stop saying she's not able to sing cause she can sing she just needs more time to take her true voice in.

Im super impressed that she was able to keep her composure performing this song. Its so powerful, I am proudly shocked she didn't start crying.
Amazing!!! I love you, Kesha. ✨😍❤️
Give a girl some credit, please!!! She did what she could. You have to remember that you're not under microscopic and a lot pressure like her. Just stop all the bashing & enjoy the damn song! It's a fucking meaningful song. She can sing! Cheer!
This was a great performance... Why are ppl whining??????
SO emotional!!! I can't stop crying... LOVE THIS!!!!!
How much emotion❤️ Love you Kesha
SHE IS A RAINBOW
She cant hit the note because shes crying. Try doing a falsetto THAT high while youre crying.
I love her ❤️❤️ her strength is so inspiring 😭
What a spectacular, beautiful, soul-driven performance!
When talent sings with 💓
She didn't hit that note, it's okay, the performance was gorgeous!! Like rihanne in Diamond she didn't hit the note everytime. It's obvious.
So beautiful and powerful song and ke$ha.I really really luv her so much.Makes me cry and happy
The last moment, this is the real. This is the greatest singer No,the greatest woman. Ke$ha,you’re so amazing.
Omg goosebumps everywhere. I got a big smile on my face.
She looks like the actress from the hunger games, so beautiful
Laura Gadille ikr
She sounds great to me ! I loved her performance... of course I noticed the note at 2:10 . B U T outside of that note I thoroughly enjoyed it
Love the song😍😍
Amazing live performance.. Love Kesha!! Keep fighting the good fight dollface!!!
There are more people complaining about the people complaining about the high note then there are people actually complaining about the high note
Jarade Blackmon right?! 😂
+Lorelai Mercy I think it´s because it really shocked some people that some people were complaining about a high note...
Jarade Blackmon you're the first to not.... wait you are tho... so am I now wow lmao
LMAO
I love her😭❤️
Amazing!! One of my favorite
this was so powerful
Woah man so much raw emotion how can you not love this woman?!! I wish her all the best in life! 👏
I'm so excited to see her live ❤️❤️❤️
Love her voice. It is amazing and perfect in every way! Can't wait for her album release
If you keep rewinding to hear her sing " name " it's at 2:14
2:15
Bmh523 thank you
everyone complaining about the note she will soon do it when she is confident enough to do it it is a hard song for her to sing just give her time
MCRICHARD lol i see you everywhere. From Cupcakke to kesha 💀
