Hey m, Anthrax has been my favorite since I was 16, the Persistence of Time album. It's kind of a mind scramble that Elliot is a metal superfan at such a young age. I wasn't really into until high school. It's great that the metal, punk, and rock and roll in general will survive us, long after these bands are gone, like the classical and jazz composers before them.
Elliot gets to meet so many legends and handles it like a pro, nice one!

I love this kid! He does such a GREAT job putting his interviewees at ease with his gentle demeanor and smile. He's really fantastic. I'm enjoying watching these interviews so much more than most that I run into.
My first concert was this year (surprising because I'm fucking 17). It was the Iron Maiden tour with Anthrax as one of the opening bands and I remember when Scott Ian threw his guitar pick I got it and it's now my most valuable thing.

I once met Scott Ian (and Anthrax) and he was super cool, very polite and totally engaging.
I saw Scott in a Walgreens in Jacksonville, NC some years ago. I saw him and said “hey, are you Scott Ian?” He literally ran out out of there like he was on fire.

Great job interviewing Elliott. Anthrax was my favorite metal band, until Pantera came out, but still love Anthrax. I remember playing Anthrax for my Grandma and she told me it was a cattle disease. I guess most people didn't know what the name meant. I got to see them live, in front of front row, in the security guards box, for the Among the living tour. Awesome show and still my favorite Anthrax CD. I've never seen a bigger smile on Scott's face, then in that pic.

It was designed by Greg Nicotero. They are sold at Nic And Norman's restaurant which is owned by Nicotero and Norman Reedus.

Met all of Anthrax when I was 11 years old in Atlanta when they were touring with Ozzy after No Rest for the Wicked came out. They signed a bunch of stuff for me and were super nice guys.

My mom showed me Jaws and Halloween when I was a kid. Later she let me watch Scream. I had a pretty nice upbringing.

i met scott in the parking lot of the hollywood palladium in the 90's (the john bush era) after the gig me and my guitar player were getting ready to leave, and in the rear view mirror i see scott behind us selling a bike to a guy (or visa versa)
i said, "hey, scott's behind the truck". don't think i finished my sentence as i look to my friend and the door was open and he was in back talking to scott. i thought, "way to be cool man" but i don't blame him. i said hi to him and he was cordial.

@Elliot: You really want to get "intimidated" by a rock musician? Do an interview with James Hetfield. Everybody is in awe of him. Every journalist, no matter how old. He is such imposing figure and, of course, a great guy and musician.
