  • In this video I will build the frame for my new out feed assembly table. The frame was built from kiln dried construction grade pine lumber purchased at local big retail store, which I stacked in my shop for approximately five weeks before starting the project.
    @Bourbonmoth thank you for the excellent design concept behind this out feed table.

    Huge lesson in my woodworking journey has been to break down the glue-ups into more manageable bits. Soooo much less stressful! Nice build!

    Great build. You did a good job showing how using construction lumber can still make for a nice looking project.

    Before I had a table saw I’ve been cutting tenons just like that. For smaller ones I used an accurate speed square. Used a combination square as a index guide and cut tenons

    Job well done! You had some very ‘innovative’ and common sense solutions in this build, but I haven’t seen them done by anyone else (and I’ve probably watched at least 250 workbench and assembly tables on CZcams.) I’m a new subscriber.

    Also dude I would love to see a proper video of how to make a jig that cuts tenons with those rounded edges like a Leigh FMT. There are a couple videos but nothing valuable enough to take information from

    I know your channel is fairly young based on the number of subscribers you have, but this looks like a very nice project that just about ANY woodworker can make, and the way you presented it with voice overs IMHO makes it a lot easier for your viewers to follow. Do you have plans available for this table?? If your garage/workshop floor is that badly uneven, I would suggest having a cement company pour some self leveling cement on top of the existing floor. If you decide to rearrange your shop, or move into another shop somewhere down the road, having the legs on this table at different lengths, could very easily present a problem for you. BTW, you can add me to your list of subscribers.....GREAT VIDEO!!!!!!!!!

      Thanks for watching. I got the idea for this table from a bourbon moth woodworking video. I believe he has plans for sale on his website. I will never sell plans for something that I got from another person. As far as the uneven floor goes I don’t think leveling it is in my future. I’ll deal with it if I ever change locations. Could always flip the table and cut a bit off the long legs. Thanks for watching. Hope you have a great day!!

    Super clean shop great builds , you use drill bits with stops ? Where did you get them.

    • @squareandlevel
      @squareandlevel  Před 10 měsíci

      Thanks for the the compliments!! I’m not 100% sure what you are referring to but I assume it is the collar / stops I use on drill bits to set the depth of hole being drilled. I picked a set of them up on Amazon for like $10-15 I believe. Just search for drill bit collar set. Thanks again! Have a great day!

    Great job. I followed Bourbon's outfeed design too. Made the frame easy to layout.
    What paint did you use? Thanks

      Rust oleum enamel. I am still very happy with it. Only thing I might do different is to not use black laminate. It’s a pain to keep clean and looking nice. Thanks for watching. Hope you have a great day!

      @@squareandlevel ah, good old rustoleum! Thank you. And yes, I used 3mm aluminium for my top. When it gets scruffy I'll just rotary polish it lol.
      Thanks again
