    Really glad to see you respected mam, felt the magic moments of your class during my masters (2009-11). One of the Best Teachers of analytical chemistry. The way you taught was so amazing. Thank you mam for being the most supportive teacher I have ever met and no doubt what I am today is just because of your efforts, concept based teaching methodology and support.
    In short, I have no words to pay my gratitude.

      @foziabatoolChemistry  Před měsícem

      @@gulrazgullu take any salt of iron. Divide molecular mass by atomic mass and dissolved resultant value into 1 liter solution. It will be 1000 ppm for iron. Now take 10 ml of this solution and make up to 100 ml by dilution. It will be 100 ppm. Now from this 100 take 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 ml and dilute up to 100. You got 1, 2, 3 ,4 and 5 ppm solution for iron

    ma'am please help me to know -using the stock solution of 500mg/10mL NaCl in Distilled water. So what ppm should I take for dilution?

    • @foziabatoolChemistry
      @foziabatoolChemistry  Před rokem +1

      I think it is too late to reply. However if you dissolve 500mg of NaCI in 10 mL then it is 50000ppm solution. Now from this stock solution you have to apply dilution factor for low grade preparation.

    Mam how to prepare ppb solutions from ppm please explain it

  • @aaqibkhan.387
    @aaqibkhan.387 Před 3 lety

    maam you are saying that take 1g of solute and dissolve it in 1000mL of water its will be equal to 1000ppm (1g/L=1000ppm), i am skeptic about this method, because How you can ignore the molecular weight of a given compound during the ppm solution preparation??????????

    • @foziabatoolChemistry
      @foziabatoolChemistry  Před rokem

      When we talk about 1ppm solution of a whole compound it mean that that compound is one million part of total solution. Here its weight is not involved.

    Ham 1000 ppm say 10 ml ppt k ly q ly rhy hian?
    Or us ko 100 ml main q dissolve kr rhy hain ? 10 ki jagh 2 ml ya 100 ki jagh 50 ml nhii kr skty?

    • @foziabatoolChemistry

      Sorry Beta could not reply you in time. You can reduce amount taken from stock solution and also reduce amount of total solution. I will add a lecture on it soon as it need complete explanation.

    • @foziabatoolChemistry

      Sorry dear for very late reply. If you dissolve 100mg in 1000 mL then it is 100ppm but if you dissolve 100mg in 100mL then it is 1000ppm solution of that compound. If you feel any confusion you can ask.
