Pastoring IS work. It takes many hours and energy to pastor people. They preach, teach, visit you in the hospital, perform weddings or funerals for you or your family members, counsel you when you’re in trouble and your marriage is on the rocks and more.
You have not read the Bible. If you have, you will see that the Ten Commandment says Honour your Father and Mother that thy days may be long. So making such comment mislead people. Give and it will be given back.
