- Extremely happy with this purchase! Not a bad price to get introduced to coil suspension. If you liked the video please give it a thumbs up and if you like MTB content please consider subscribing!!

Glad I found your channel. POV footage is excellent. I've been wearing Vans since the 70s and run the Vans grips as well!
Appreciate the feedback 🙌💯 so sick! You can never go wrong with some vans 🤙🤙
I got this coil a few weeks back and I’m probably never going back to air again 😅
Haha nice! I think I’m on the same boat 😂🤝
Seem you gain speed by being more confident. I also want to upgrade my air shock and you convinced me
Yeah I did feel a bit more confident on this coil shock. Haha so sick, it’s worth trying out 🤙💯
Very nice video! Just ordered one yesterday, can't wait to try it... I sincerly hope I chose the right spring, I used the TF Tuned spring caclulator which is supposed to be pretty good... we'll see.
Thank you!! Yeah those calculators seem to be pretty spot on if you type in the correct info🤘 cheers man! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do 💯🙌
Novice here, is it easy to swop out an air for a coil,
@@nicespejo it all went very easy for me, that shock is idiot proof, set and forget!
Recently tried the bomber CR and I agree, it's nice! I prefer it over all the fox shock and it a little better then the super deluxe
So sick, stoked that you liked it 💯🤟
This comment has sold it to me, I've got this exact bike, ordering my coil ✌️✌️✌️
yeah, is the way to go in your case....try also a progresive spring...once you go coil!!! got my self a elevin-six and fox float X2 (2pos adj)..
Definitely might try a progressive spring down the road, head good things about them 🙌
@@GabeGarcia I would look at Sprindex springs. They have an adjustable spring rate and are slightly progressive. I'm considering purchasing a CR with a Sprindex as my coil option.
Great riding, that trail looks like so much fun. When you flipped the switch did you feel the difference or was it the coil change enough?
Appreciate it 💯 I think it was a little of both but more of the coil change. The coil was doing a good job at making me feel more stable on the way down 🤘🤘
Looks like you've dropped that on a clash, is it 230 x65, straight swop out
Did you ever use the lockout on your air shock? It is missed on the CR when climbing?
I never used to lockout my suspension when I had my air shock, I would always forget to open it back up at the top of the mountain lol. So having this coil shock without a lockout mechanism feels almost identical to climbing up a mountain with an open air shock, which isn’t that bad in my opinion. Hope that helps🤙🤙
Thinking about dropping one on my slash and i would if the 230 eye to eye shocks werent all out if stock right now
Not a fan of my enduro bike having a deluxe select plus
I upgraded the fork to a lyric ultimate (damper upgrade if i got a new fork i would have gone zeb) and put the gx axs i had on my last bike on it but i just wanna get rid of the ugly and not to great feeling deluxe select plus
I was on the same boat as you, I wasn’t a fan of my rear shock so I pulled the trigger on this coil and I’ve been in love ever since! 💯🙌
I went coil and am never looking back
Same here 😁🙌
Hi, bro! How did you turn the 65mm shock absorber rod? The commentaries have a rotated mount. I have commencal meta am 29
I believe you turn the absorber rod by hand to get it to where you like it. Let me know if that answered your question 😁🙌
@@GabeGarcia hey. Sorry, but I didn't find the information. I do not know how to turn the shock absorber rod, I am afraid to disassemble the shock absorber or something is turned wrong
What do you weigh? Were you able to set your sag properly with that 450 spring?
With all my riding gear I am about 180 to 190 pounds, and I was able to set the sag properly with this spring. I’ve heard really good things about progressive springs so I think down the road I’ll give one a try but for now I’m liking the 450 spring 🤟
What’s up Gabe, I ordered the shock for a clash as well. I’m trying to figure out what measurement and weight to go for this shock. I’m about 220lbs. You know which one I’d need from their site? Thanks !
