WOW! What a great cover for Jefferson Airplane. This was one of the greatest songs ever written that related to the era of drug use in America. It’s basically on the same plain as Janice Joplin. Grace Slick performed this song with the greatest emotion and by doing so, made an impact on society. I love this song. Great performance Haley. I applaud you and your talent. Much Kudos to the band and the rest of your team as well.

OK I’m 72 and I attended concerts where Grace Slick and Jefferson Airplane performed White Rabbit. So I was totally prepared to hate and ridicule this performance. Stop right there! As I listened my ears perked up and I was pleasantly surprised by this talented vocalist. By the end of the song I was thinking, damn, she’s really good. Kudos ! From the heart ! You made an old man smile.

My father is happy I appreciate it. I'm 26 and jam to this old rock all the time. I remember like 4 years ago I was blasting War Pigs and singing along and he just busted in my room and said "Hey! That's from my generation!" And I told him so what? It's EPIC. But he won't really let me try to show him some death metal or alternative from right before I was born until I was a teen. A little hypocritical, but I can't really blame him for it. Not the best of artists in the mid-late 90's to mid 00's
I am Not sure that before the 1960s there were songs that uplifted Western Civilization by glorifying an acid or a mushroom trip on a hallucinogenic drug. But that is the legacy of the 60s, right?

I'm from that 60's - 70's generation. I think the band is really tight, sounded great. She's got a good rock voice and also did an excellent job. Those shorts of her's get an A+

Not many girl singers/bands would dare do this and I think they did more than bloody well with this most respectable effort. White Rabbit was just so special to me growing up so lovely just to hear this version.

Speechless! Taking nothing away from Grace Slick, but this interpretation is second to none. Like Mr. Klein, I was present at the festival, and not being familiar with Ms. Reinhart, was not expecting a performance that would rival Grace's.
Her intonations demonstrate the song's fantasy roots, and her undulating hips and arms evoke it's mystical nature. Then a raspy explosion of joy and energy, celebrating rock's youthful power. Hayley Reinhart, the name is new to me, but I'm already a fan.

I didn't know what to expect coming in, but I left this cover impressed with her take. It's a tribute to Grace without being a carbon copy, which is what a good cover should be.

In the early 70's in N. Carolina I and a few buddies, Marines and Navy, were out one night and found a bar with a band. We had that girl sing that song so many times she begged us to quit! Fantastic night, fantastic band.

Grace's voice generated range that gave people a sense that there was a lot of vocal cord horsepower at her command....and it became more evident as the song progressed.

Same - was pleasantly surprised. Ended up liking it because she doesn't sound like all the other autotuned, samey, stereotypical, yodelly even broken phrased females ("Im trying to be clever by singing vocal exercises within the song") + "Oh and I wanna sound like "". One nice touch was that she kept it to the original format of the original singer but added just a little bit more of a rocky style to it to give it a subtle difference. Well done! EDIT: Stupid thing is I don't even like the original record lol

As a fan of the Jefferson Airplane when I was an acid head and a magic mushroom eater way back when, I have to say that was a very good job doing one of my favorite songs.

Never heared of Haley before and by the start of the song I was very sceptical. But at 1:20 I was sold. Great version, great singer, hail the algorithm for showing this to me!
I remember Haley from American Idol and liked her a lot then. While this is Jefferson Airplane and Grace Slick, who I will always think of when I hear this song. It is one of my all time favorites. This was one of the few covers that I have heard that I would actually listen to again. Her voice lends itself to this song. And the shorts were great too.

Absolutely astounding performance! I must have listened to this song a hundred times when I was a kid in the 60s! It's the first song that gave me chills. Grace Slick and Jefferson Airplane were heroes of mine and I bought all their albums in the years to follow. I still have most of them and Jefferson Starship's too in storage.
Haley's rendition of White Rabbit is the best that I've ever heard other than Grace's, which quite frankly will never be excelled!

If you don't like her rasping growl that she uses for dramatic expression, then a lot of her songs you'll not like although she does have songs without that growl. Many of us find it highly expressive, and I think she sings this as well as Grace, especially on the version on her album "What's That Sound". She doesna let it run away our of control as Janis Joplin did. I don't know about you but I don't like Janis Joplin's voice or any of her performances I've watched on YT

I just stumbled across this, and I am impressed with Haley's ability to keep reasonably true to the music in an outdoor concert venue with less than optimal acoustics; it goes with the gig, I know. But, mercy, Darlin', you have a big voice in that wonderfully compact package. I am intrigued. KDM

She’s always had a voice that people underestimate.
Powerful voice. Tight band. Tough song to hit this hard without sounding like a tribute act. Fantastic job.
Voice too squeaky. Nowhere near Grace's dark intonations. Plus, Grace sung from drug experience. I saw & heard Grace sing this song live-on-stage a few times back-in-the-day.

Man I cant get enough of Haley, Im completely blown away, her range how she can go from soft and sultry to belting with a set of pipes like no other then back to soft, that soulful jazzy sound, and her range of music, from covering oldies to taking modern stuff retro, and the way she moves and looks in some videos, that like old school classy dressed sultry lounge singer, kind of like the dame character in old who done it sleuth type movie, actually I'd bet she could probably play a similar role in a similar type flick well. this song fits my sentiment perfectly the more I watch the further I get sucked in like chasing a rabbit down a hole. I'd really like to see Haley do more stuff with other singers like maybe steve tyler, or well I watched wild horses with her and myles, but I think the two of them could have done some thing way more powerful, too bad Chris Cornell isnt with us any more cause I think she and chris could have been magical together.
