I could listen to Trey talk for hours. Dude is awesome.
‘We didn’t sleep in a BED! for.... it was amazing’
As an Italian man it’s so good to know a fellow Italian dubbed the name to my favorite Phish song!!!
Corfu!
I love how 40 years later Fish still cracks him up that much
He reflects so fondly. This is how legends are made. I love it. Thank you Trey.
God...how could you not love this man and Phish?
I love trey and phish so much they their concerts have given me some of the best memories of my life and I thank them for it.
Trey and Phish....you make me so happy. When I shared with the guy who was working in my home, that I was SO excited to be seeing Phish in Camden this tour, mind you, he is 20s..he said "Oh you're going to hang out with the Good People". And so the reputation precedes.....Was the best night I had in years.
Thank you for giving us Phish! They really deserve their own 24/7 channel! I’m loving phish radio and the bunny!
Your dream came true 😉
Wow, he's showing age, which I guess means I'm showing age too. We grow old with our favorite band.
Oh Trey, you and the guys should never feel bad, or that you don't deserve the full extent of the pleasure that we've felt. I can only say thank you, whenever I danced with you guys, whenever I just got a full blown vacation in my mind listening to you guys. Even when I worked at the Bryce Jordan center catering you and your crew. Every moment was soul-tickling and wonderful. You enjoy myself and I enjoy every moment of you guys. Ha. Amazing, and thank you. ❤️
So cool! Awesome to see him talk about the songs and funny stories!
musically, the first part of YEM has J.S. Bach written all over it. I was listening to WQXR in NYC one day and a Bach piece was being played, and I was like "that's YEM note for note.
Trey studied Bach while learning classical guitar, def checks out
I want an interview with the Italian guy
i wonder if he has any idea what he did
Very awesome!
This is the BEST story for the BEST song.
fish is a great guy.hi trey, you happened to meet me many years ago.in howard beach.thanks for always being nice
Love it !!!
Too damn soon. Just got the alert this was up about 3 hours after the cancelled curveball. I look forward to watching this eventually...

So talented✌️his group, his music is best of best! He’s 🥵 redheads are fucking hot especially Trey!!! You could tell he plays music from his soul and I can’t get enough. You make my heart smile 😊
Wow. Great story
I just said "Wash uffitze drive me to firenze" to myself earlier today.
Me too bud LOL
what’s your fee to drive me to firenze
Rip curveball man
aw man, im getting old. I hate seeing Trey get old.....tears
Getting old is awsome.
Robair, but it just isn’t...
Your body starts to break down, people around you start to die, you lose steam a lot quicker than before...it’s just a pain in the ass, unfortunately.
Getting old looks hard if you are intent on staying in the rat race at hyperspeeds, and ignoring your body. Luckily with age comes wisdom, and the idea that all that running is fruitless anyway. Young people have bad things happen to their bodies all the time. If it's looks you're worried about, start looking at peoples' hearts instead of their faces for beauty. But you knew all that, was just reminding you. ♥
Seriously?? He is awesome, and the longer we live the better we become!! Besides, age is a state of mind - try has definitely aged like a fine wine... And he is tasty to drink ahah :)
aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh aaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh agggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Harry Hood was partially written in Greece? That's pretty neat
Did they overdub bongos or does that table just have great resonance?
I think he was tapping on/near the mic stand, but yeah it sounded pretty cool!
This sounds like the work of Guelah Papyrus
How do you go from writing songs like that to these new songs?! They're all just too...safe..not stale but certainly not boiling hot. I'm not hating I just love a good music discussion with good people. I prefer to hear opposing opinions on this so feel free to share.
He’s older now, his life is probably a bit more calm, he’s learned a lot, his songwriting probably will reflect that.
Barre vt was where we roll
Too bad curveball was cancelled. At least I got there and back home safe
Guyute me too. Good thing we got there before 7pm.
“We slept together. It was hot.”

My favorite Hood.
Check it.
Thank you and I respond with 8/12/15. Perfect
@@calvinbaxter7151 I hear the one from last night was tops, too, the Nov 30, 2019 Hood.
Guy has no clue what a flexatone is, laughs anyway as if he does, Trey explains what it is anyway.
John Thomann Sickness👍🏻
I definitely picked up on that too ha.
I immediately felt so awkward. Trey knew
Thats how u know trey is a genuinely good dude even if he thought dude didnt know what it was he explained it in a way as to try not 2 point it out and make fun or be condescending but in a way that just flows with the general conversation wheather for the listening audience or this cat. This is a good break from all the other bs i keep watching on YT lol
glad someone said that
How come YEM sounds like “Linus and Lucy” when he hums it out loud? 0:52
My best friend and I relate to this story so much because we were hanging out with my best friends Andrew’s cousin named Patrick. And Andrew and I would always say “Enjoyed it” because we worked at a Chinese restaurant and the owner would always say “Enjoyed it” when she gave the customers their food. So one night we were hanging with Andrew’s cousin Patrick and my self and Andrew kept on saying “Enjoyed it” and at one moment of the night Patrick looked at us and said “that enjoyed it thing you guys say, it’s a really neat thing to say”
Big red
If I ever meet Trey I’d say Hi, I really enjoy yourself…..
Im the guy from Texas.
Welcome, Texas! Former Oklahoman here. Love TX!
do yo have any stories about this period?
Curveball. It was a joke.
John Griffin too soon man. Lol
Johnathan Smith im still in disbelief
Love it! "Wash your face and drive to me to Firenze!" (Florence) :-). ??
wash *uffizi drive me to firenze
what’s your fee to drive me to firenze?
Water you team in a bee hive ima sent you
I thought they fired this guy over a year ago
bitch please. he pulls so much weight everyone would be standing there confused if he bailed. but you knew that ♥
2:36 the face of a liar
You know damn well if u guys never met me there would be no phish yall my bros n always will be phish we were homies before the band existed
looks like he needs to hydrate
Maybe that dude can do a recap of this...that way he can repeat shit we already know.
The truth is Ernie Stires wrote this song, and Phish's parents purchased the song for their sons.
Thank you for the opportunity to not listen to some self righteous dope head that sells tickets to kids on nitrous and Molly. Literally all the fucking time.
He is straight up lying. Ernie Stires wrote it most of their other early songs. Sad that Trey is a pathological liar. The one guy from Texas is Trey, he isn't really from Vermont.
I'm sorry but you're an idiot
I’m not sorry that you’re an idiot.. smoke another one @Glazed420 LOL!
they sound like the Grateful Dead. They try to claim to be like a jam band but they just continue the saga of the Grateful Dead really.
Gregory Paige that makes sense, since the Grateful Dead are a jam band
They're way more akin to king crimson, yes, and frank zappa than the dead. But they jam and get exploratory like the dead, they just use different idioms and influences for the way they express themselves in the musical language.
You just made a really stupid comment Greg
I know so many Deadheads who hate Phish and are quite verbal about it. Saying they sound like the Dead though, is an insult and I think you're aware of that. Obviously you've not given more than a 30 second listen, therefore your opinion has been rendered irrelevant +Gregory Paige
You should listen to more music. They really don't sound much alike.
