These guys are genuine educators, it could be because their production work flow is very simple compared to other producers who are very in the DAW, but they're so open and relaxed too. Lots of explaining what led to their choices, with the chords "why, why does it sound like it's from this period/place". Very cool.

I love the fact they start a song similar to what I do too, makes getting stuff structured so much quicker which then gives you inspiration for adding other layers to a song.
