      @joshuamartinez7409 Před 6 měsíci +4

      @@Rrr_558This is going to be a long comment but fuck it. Here's my idea. What if we start as Dutch Van Der Linde as a 15 year old boy, there are cut scenes where he sees his mother depressed and he just can't take it anymore, so now the player can move and the objective is to sneak out of home and flee never returning. Dutch leaves home at that age in the year 1870. Then we go to Hosea, his childhood and him growing up on the mountains, fast forward to a 17/18 year old Hosea attempting to steal a chicken. The player can now move and the objective is to steal a chicken, then a cut scene is of you getting caught. And so he gets caught and he's about to be hanged while the people are chanting and rioting for him to be free, then a sheriff steps in and shoots the ropes, the player can move Hosea and the objective is to flee out of the area while holding his throat and fleeing and a cut scene when they grab the sheriff and hang him instead. Sad music plays after the death of the sheriff. 1876, Dutch and Hosea are arrested, they spent hours in a jail cell, they find a way out and before they escape, they tie the sheriff up on a chair. 1877, a young 14 year old Arthur is running around causing trouble to elderly folk. One day Dutch and Hosea go up to Arthur and introduce themselves, they offer him to join them. He agrees.
      I have more so i will comment tomorrow with more story progression.

      @@pup123434 yeah I feel that with the first RDR the whole game is kind of tailored towards the western gunslinger fantasy, all the outfits, challenges, music, characters all had the western movie feel, John was basically the lone wolf gunslinger for the most part becoming a legendary name, but RDR2 felt like it tried to be a more real setting, not the western movie fantasy (not saying it's bad) Arthur's character had the advantage of being surrounded by the gang and the hundreds of interactions and sides missions you could with them to get to know them better, the way you could interact with everyone with greet/antagonize system and the numerous lines Arthur just spat out made everyone feel alive. The whole story revolved around the death of the outlaw, civilization moving in and the slow deterioration of the gang and Arthur's attempts to try to prevent that and his failure to making him realize they can't go back and he especially can't with his diagnosis so he fights with who he is to try and change, his story and the journey he goes on is just more complicated than the first one because it's a more internal struggle with himself, John's is a little more surface level with try to save his family by taking out his past, but I will say that the cutscenes he does get with the gang in the first game did have some good writing, like with Dutch "we can't fight nature" the dialogue john would with the gang members in the first one set their characters but they were very vague with how everything went down and their actual relationship and the second one just fleshed everything out so much more
