Disaster Management officials assess flood damage in many areas of Western Cape

Western Cape Disaster Management officials are assessing flood damage in several areas following heavy rains. The West Coast, Breede Valley, Boland, Cape Winelands, the Garden Route and Little Karoo regions have been affected. The worst-hit area is De Doorns in the Breede Valley, where thousands of people in informal settlements have been forced from their homes.
