@@ccgarage5040 bed floor, any suspension tossed , any metal from truck. My 68 is rough but buildable. I have tons of metalwork to do and basically so much I'm pulling cab and bed off. The previous owner put a sheet of .125 steel down for bed floor. I'm removing it and using it for metal to make cab floor. I'm in NW Florida so not sure how far you are from me.

Im going to Z the frame and pancake the crossmember over the winter. It already has a 1 piece driveshaft and after step notching the rear I think the floor is going to have to be modified

Nice job on the notch install. I've got the same welder in my shop. Once you get shielding gas, you'll notice how it will weld most everything you need on setting 4 with 3.5 wire speed 🤣 It's pretty handy really. 🔧🔩

when you z the frame, are you going to have to change the engine mounts, or cut more out of the cab to make room for a one peace drive shaft?
