Summer Windsurfing Gerroa

A fun day at Gerroa again with a south swell in the 1-2m range. The wind was lighter than forecast for most of the day but came in a bit stronger after I ran out of drone batteries.
Was a fun day for me too until I got my leg twisted in the footsteps in a wipeout and twisted my ankle and knee.... hopefully I'll be back in the water soon!

I discovered your windsurf videos recently, to me your Gerroa clips are some of the finest and most enjoyable wavesailing videos you can find on the internet, they're that good !
The drone shots are amazing. And the music makes me want to jump on my waveboard and dance, love it !
And I also discovered a spot I never heard of that looks like a wavesailor's dream come true on a human level. I only wish I could visit more easily, but most admirers of this clip probably live on the other end of the globe , like me, so i guess you're safe from the crowds hopefully ;)

Thanks Alain.... Glad you liked it....Even though Gerroa can go off, it's too unreliable for an overseas trip.... It really only gets epic maybe a couple of days a year.

Paul, just a suggestion... Could you, please,make a tutorial about how to windsurf in almost windless conditions? I windsurf in the Canary Islands. Here we have insane strong winds, specially during the summer. Watching this video I can see that you guys, at least apparently, are really good at getting power out of a breeze... Awesome moves in such a perfect spot, Nice!! I've got a question: is it possible to wavesail shallower reefs with a very steep drop off? Since this is typical in the Seychelles islands where I'm from.
