Another Cancer here and I now live in my 8th house and each one has been hard to leave - some more than others. We always had to follow my husband's jobs and "the paycheck" but each move can bring new friends and adventures. Best of luck and love in your new French home.

This is such a poignant post 😭. So bittersweet. So beautiful. "The house that loved you back ".... I truly believe that. You took a ramshackle house and turned it into a thing of beauty. Of course it wanted to love you back! The place we call home contains so much more than our belongings. Your new home is anxiously awaiting for you to do the same. Love you Beth!!

The fact that you went out of your way to clean, prune, and water the garden for the new tenants to enjoy AND also gave them instructions/tips on how to care for the house was just so amazing of you. BETH!! I am in tears here (I think it is HAPPY tears, not sure). I love the ❤❤ that the L.A. House gave you, they are memories that you'll have forever. I really don't know if I could have sold that home it is so YOU and Phillipe's Accents of France Architecture. BUT your new adventure lightens my heart knowing of all the new/old places your feet will travel to and take us along with you. Like that old windmill you took us to, and the salt marshes. I am so looking forward to "OUR" new travels and adventures if only here on my computer. How I will miss the house in L.A. you can only guess. I was "there" when you installed the new appliances, and how you explained all the ins and outs of them. I was also there at Christmas with all the wonderful things you showed us that you purchased on Etsy. You have been a constant in my life and I have loved the ride. I sold my house I built after 20 yrs. I walked around and put my hands on walls and thanked it for what it did for us…keep us save, happy memories in kids rooms, etc. I cried but felt good through the process. Excited for your next adventure! ❤

About the house being a person I feel this to the core! All my 31 years of life I lived in this house Im in now. Maybe 1 year in the old house which i was a baby then but this house is my soul. Maybe if my dad was alive i wouldnt cry about it n fear losing it so much but its the only place that keeps my dad memories alive n vivid…

Yes, this is your best video ever. You and I are so much alike. I believe every house has a soul and I think when you enter a new house, you should wait to make changes because there’s reasons why something is like it is. I too love all the French doors, I usually knock out windows and put French doors. I love greenery surrounding the yard so it’s like your own private place. I don’t want to see other houses or other people necessarily just my own space with my dogs. Cooking is my passion, especially French and Italian my two favorites. You’re going to have a beautiful life in France. May God bless you and your family. Keep those videos coming. 🇫🇷
