One of my favorite memories as a child in summer was my father owned a country grocery store. He would allow me to go on the candy truck and pick out the candies he sold in the store. Such amazing memories 🍭 🍬

My husband and I like barbecues in summer, opening the living room door into the garden, getting fresh flowers from our garden into our house, mixing cocktails, welcoming friends etc…. I live in Austin, TEXAS and my home is very much inspired by all things "Scandish!" Your home is the epitome of how I'd love my home to eventually evolve. There's so much value in beautifying the home - not only for yourself and family but friends who can enjoy a lovely and peaceful visit without the total chaos of a neglected home. I admit that being in someone's home that's not cared for doesn't make for a memorable visit (although their company is really why I'm there). We can always go somewhere else, but this type of living is really great for a healthy and uncluttered mind as well.

My favorite childhood memory of the summer were the endless holidays. It was basically 3 weeks in Europe with my parents. We had a trailer tent. It was awesome. Looking back we were not rich. My mom and dad both worked 2 jobs. But I FELT rich. My mom is like you-so creative at the time-cooking, sewing, gardening, etc. My dad was a bit older when they got me, but he was always most active with me, like taking long walks and playing football and badminton. Yeah, it was definitely nice to have a childhood like this. Thank you for the video. Very inspiring! Greetings from the Netherlands. 😘

Good morning! I love your cozy outdoor area. We have such a small space outside that there is really only room for the grill. 😕 But it has gotten SO hot and humid that we don’t spend any time outside.
We went on a trip to New Mexico a few weeks ago, and it was so nice without humidity! Just walking into the shade felt 10 degrees cooler.

Noemi, I love, love, love your videos so much. Everything you create in your home, outside, and in your studio is beautiful, whimsical, and colorful. I love the adorable duck/goose cookies you created. So easy, yet so adorably cute. A memory I have growing up is my dad making homemade ice cream for the family and neighborhood kids. He originally used a hand crank maker, then eventually started using an electric one. It was magic to us kids as we watched the stainless steel cylinder surrounded by ice and lots of salt turn round and round until it created the thick, chocolaty goodness from the liquid chocolate recipe my mom mixed up on the stove. Thank you for sharing your creativity and happiness with us each week!!
My daughter is 24 and my son is now 19. I used to love taking them to parks to play, ride scooters, etc. I also loved having fun in our own yard with a basic pool, trampoline, water balloons, picnics. Now, they are doing their own things and I’m literally trying to figure out what do “I” like to do in summer.

We also had winter ice creams in Poland, but they wer called ""warm ice cream" :) but my childhood summer dish was pasta with strawberies and cream and sugar . And of course pierogi with bilberry ( the wild berries from a wood) also with cream and sugar. and cold borscht/ beetroot soup (chłodnik) with egg

I wish we could be outside more, but we have tons of mosquitoes. I don't think you have many out there? I'll have to get a thyme plant or 6. Lol. We have been gone for 2 weeks now. We were in Michigan and then went to Minneapolis. They have lots of flooding from heavy rain but it's so green and lush. Today, I'm following your lead and making some great goodies. My little oven is going strong and one of the best purchases!I got to meet some CZcamsrs in Minneapolis, too. They are resellers of clothing, and they could not be sweeter!!!

Growing up, there was a blueberry farm down the street . We would ride our bicycles there to get fresh blueberry ice cream.
I also love to start my day with a cup of coffee on the porch. I listen to the birds and watch the neighbors cows graze. I also have a chipmunk friend who will come get a peanut from me 😊
