If you want to see that drummer, you’ll have to see him in Cavalera Conspiracy. This Sepultura lineup is long gone. Just the lead guitarist and bass guitar left.

I'm from Brazil I live in São Paulo Capital and I recommend listening to the bands too: Sarcófago, Crypta, Nervosa, Krisiun, Torture Squad, Korzus... they are all brazilian bands that i recommend doing in react
Anyone ever wondering how early Sepultura impacted the evolution of heavy metal, well here you go. Heavy as f**k, powerful lyrics with real meaning, the OG Sepa was a 2'by4' smash to the face, monstrous and amazing. I saw them back in the 90's and they were every bit as superb as this shows.

Max Cavalera is one of the important and influential guys of metal! He has soo many good bands NailBomb and Cavalera Conspiracy are great as well!

Sep-pool-tour-ah is the way it’s pronounced. Or that’s the best way I can figure to write it phonetically.
What's cool about the song it's how driven it is by the drums. All in all a metal masterpiece, from the lyrics to the repeating guitar riffs, and the drums. Note also only one guitar solo, placed effectively

I´ve seen the drummer and guitarist/voclist ( Igor & Max Cavalera ) live 2011 with Cavalera Conspiracy and they played mostly old Sepultura songs. Awesome gig in Sauna Open Air festival in Finland.

The original sepultura. Sepultura split up after the album Roots, the singer and drummer are brothers, they are no longer in sepultura but they are touring soon and will be playing songs from Arise album. Then you have the band Sepultura, and they are also touring, and playing
The same dam songs, it drives me nuts. They do a great job but the real Sepultura is max and ignor Cavalera.

Unfortunately the drummer & singer (Igor & Max Cavalara) are no longer with Sepultura.....haven’t been for years which is too bad. This was taken back in their prime.
They still play Sepultura songs at the Cavalara Conspiracy shows. But yeah, I’ve had zero interest in Sepultura since Max left.
Going to see them in one month on their beneath arise tour together. Can't fucking wait.

Being a fan since 1987 and stopped being a fan when I bought and heard Bloody Roots 1996.
Sepultura were ruined and our paths went different ways after that album. What a joke of an album it is.
But god how I love the Real Sepultura?!

honestly I don't understand so much the hype of people requesting live shows, believe me that almost 100% of the time you lose much more than what a good studio recording provides (well unless they have already reacted to the recorded song), much more when it comes to 'arena' metal bands, or big festivals
although perhaps it is much more interesting that type of bands in a live concert start to improvise and offer 'something more' than just a song... i dont know.
