When I've researched locations for films, IMDb illustrates how far apart they can often be. Lot of time and fuel can be used. If you'd had a Model 3 you'd have had to make charging stops too. When's your next holiday, Easter?! Sure will be worth the wait.
Yeah, you're right... just those few places took two days. There's a good few locations... but it's the traffic. It makes even short trips a nightmare! 2 weeks to go to the longest single EV trip... Rotterdam to the Vendée. Going to be hard.
The 3 BTTF films are definitely in my top 5. I remember having to wait a whole year between 2 and 3 but now we have the 30th Anniversary BluRay and the kids watched them in days 😁 Any plans to visit The Goonies location(s)?
They just don't seem to have aged like other films from that period. I think the music helps in that respect... we went on the Universal backlot tour, and were a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see the "square". Was certainly surreal being outside Marty McFlys house!! The Mancunian neighbour who'd lived there when they filmed, had barely any hint of that Manchester accent! Still was proper Northern friendly though :o) The Goonies? Was that filmed somewhere up in the north west, Washington state? If I want rain.., we'll drive down the M62 to Manchester! 😂😂 Great film though! All the best!
Yes, I think it's somewhere 'Up North' If you want real rain come to Ayrshire (although Manchester was about the same when I lived there, just less horizontal) 😅
