Very nice for you. The first time I climbed on rock I will never forget, so much adrenaline, the height and the feeling with the rock makes you feel free as a bird. And when your condition improves it is like you are getting more freedom with the nature around you. A very beautiful and underestimated sport.
Yet it is nice that it is a sport examinated by few people, this way it makes you feel exclusive and the nature doesn't get destroyed by thousands of people.
@requshei It took me 2 years to break the 5.11b barrier, (6c / 6c+ in the French grading system). Now, i'm up for 5.11d (7a). It's hard work, but is loads of fun to focus, to train, and to see little progress every week.
I absolutely love climbing!
never stop. make it something you will do forever
You do it...it'll be entertainment for millions
I hear ya, I also took me 2 years to break the 11b barrier. Now slowly making progress towards a 12a.
probably the one of the must best climber of the world, Viva Chris Sharma
Chris siempre demostrando que es un figura de primer nivel
new river gorge looks amazing
how can anyone dislike this?
The best
i rockclimbed for my first time today with my mom and i cant imgaine doing this... but i love the sport!
increible, CHRIS SHARMA idolo
or you can just walk from the designated parking area... its actually a pretty chill approach, as far as rrg approaches go (just a stroll up a dirt road). "Drive-By Crag" in the PMRP area of the RRG is where this route is located. you used to be able to drive right up to the crag but oil companies closed off the road.
Does anybody know what is the music in the end of the clip? Please!!!!
@unusodi thanks dude! you are big, but i was looking for the first song
@rockenjj Keep practicing and working on those hard routes! You'll get it!
These guys are awesome at climbing, but the main man here. He can really fall, people have died from smashing against the wall, but he just drops like a cat. Absolutly no resistance. That is ffing awesome. That shit needs to be learned!
or maybe use a helmet...............
How fast can this dude clip?!? awesome
Inspiring! :)
que bueno eres crish
@CerroTorre100 the first song I think is : "Eye Captain” by Darren Franks (Unreleased) !
does someone knows the soundtrack????
@louiejack6 Man.. Took me a long time to break the 5.10a barrier and climb 5.10b.. But now breaking the 5.11b barrier is freakin insane. Starting to get crimpers on overhangs. But I have to say it gets alot more fun.
I climb 5.13b currently and I cant even imagine what a 5.15 would be like although they make it look easy
Name of song thats starts at 4:17 Please!!!
I heard that Sharma climbed a 5.10b on his first indoor climb, can someone confirm this for me. thanks
Watch King Lines. It’s from there.
do you guys know if Tommy is still climbing? I know that Chris used to climb a lot together when they were younger..
@CerroTorre100 Hey dude ! " Elle Dirty D Lux ft. M Dub - Travelling " is the song !
THANK YOU, you LEGEND! 🎉 I came here looking for exactly this answer, 11 years later. Even Shazam was no help!
what's the song @ 5:30 ?
I love you
Darrenfrank.bandcamp.com it's track 10!! That's the song when he is climbing "lucifer"
@wedge248 i cant find the song!
Where is it ?
how many free solos have you done so far?
hey whats the name of the song?
last song name?
Whats the song at 3:46?
there is nothing "drive by" about the MPRP area of the red river gorge. you need 4 wheel drive just to get back into that area.
@sarvelaj maybe. maybe not. If so it was a cool feat. If not its whateves. Maybe he did just have a nack for it.
drive by crag at the red i think
The king of technique but I must admit that when it comes to free soloing the best in his class would be Alex Honnold
last song?? title... thanks!! :)
the best!! thank s ;)
gonna sound ridiculous... what are those sort of trousers called, like if you reply so's i know
Whats the first song at 0:18 ?
i think it's by Slint
I will do that. Ofcourse i know he is good..just playing
Hes ok
he doesn't actually own a home though he just goes around looking for the best climbs...!
The word you mean is NUTS
Did it ever occurred to you that he might have a lack of opportunity to go climbing? not everyone lives near a big and fancy gym, or good crags
probably because they dislike it!!
Sharma did not get the second ascent of Lucifer.
Nooo my friend!!! not that song!!! the other songs!!!
its okay you never will climb like that... the sad part is I wont as well as 99% of all climbers
No, Tommy Caldwell is the king of technique.
Climbing A plus. Music F minus.
Thats where it is at....no ropes. This is where you separate the real men, and nerves
give it time. If you're not leading already, consider taking a lesson at the gym!
is your mom good?
hahah, witty as ever. All im saying is obviously this was worth watching or you wouldnt have watched it and he's an amazing climber so probably dont fuck the ropes. Also, hes does bouldering and deep water soloing so no ropes there. check it out
Without building up any physical strenth you wont get above 15.7-9
BS productions? lol...
such bad music at the end haha
several hundred...why would you care..do like a man!!!!
