Well because he keeps trying to learn my dialect because he likes it, he always keep taking in my dialect to practice and now he as a problem when he's supposed to switch to talking normal english and he doesn't even notice that he's mixing up with the patios, I have to point it out. Because English is not is mother language and now he keep mixing up standard English with jamaican patios. Worst he keeps listen to Jamaican music he has more jamaican music on his phone than I do 😄 and oh it's also my fault I keep taking Jamaican to him when having convos.
@@UniqueNeish Funnee🤣...my parents didn't want us to speak patois in the house, so we had to learn from our friends and the people around us. Maybe if you speak to him regular English at home...it might help remember what real English sounds like. I'm also married to a white non-jamaican and he will once in a while break out the patois when he's telling one of my Mom's Jamaican jokes from back in the day! He's pretty good too! 😅

Bad analogy. It's more like if you go to Montreal and speak French with Parisian accent instead of Canadian French. Americans rarely speak any other languages so it might be hard to understand how you adapt your way of speak foreign language. In this case is normal that since he has to speak foreign language he adapts her way of speaking.
