I loved this! Maybe you could do an add-on and create the parents (how they looked before their disappearance).
Then that could give anyone who wants to play with them a chance at their own interpretation of what happened: Are they dead? Are they still alive? Have they/or one of them done something that had to be covered up? Is there anyone in Del Sol Valley who knows more?
