The editor has ruined the show. They have randomly edited his talk just like that, thereby losing the essence.
Don't repeat this ever.
Absolutely ruined it, Ridiculous thing to do TedX
because it's rule of Ted talk you should have come with only 18 min long speech
May be the edited part had lots of gore nd blood , may b tht part cud be nothing less sort of a human anatomy class tht some people wud b finding it disturbing.
Yea completely ruined it.
Exactly brother
His voice can make a cowardly man to take up weapons and defend the motherland.
Very well said
Because he was a Major General.

Hahah. The best comment .Salutae🙌
Army officers have grt memory..they can recall any date
They probably maintain a diary or a logbook. It is not as if they have eidetic memory. It is a ritual which they have made a part of their lives.
Haan yr ye chij mne bhi notice ki h
Since only civilians become Army officers/men by choice, so it must be a part of the Military discipline and training that they, upon joining Army/IAF/Navy, remain acutely attentive to what they see, hear, sense that makes their memory better than that of their own civilian selves. This is my personal opinion.
That's not memory . they make it a moment
RIGHT
The editor deliberately cut the scenes which were patriotic and truthful. Such a shame.
Ye koi Randi khana hai
Hello sir! Before jumping to conclusions, kindly know that TEDx has a 18 minutes rule. We extended it to 24. Thank you! :)
Sir, I was curator for TEDx and can surely tell you that 18 mins is maximum they have suggested. Exceptions can be made.

Thank you sir, that was one of the best inspirational speeches I have ever heard...courage, big heart, values and truth...🙏🏾
Now I understood why this man shout, because he shouts from his heart.
From his mouth,
Today as the European Colonial powers celebrate the end of World War 11 they continue to forget 75 years on the largest contingent that helped them win their war. 2,500,000 Indian soldiers. 50,000 of these died in their service and are buried in places like Kokopo, Lae and Aitape in Papua New Guinea where Indians died defending Australia form Japanese forces. Australia ignores them and their descendants to this day.
The lie buried silently and forgotten by the allies except of the occasional and begrudging mention of their contribution which gave people like me the right to migrate and reside in places like Australia where my right is inscribed in their blood.
There are other theaters of war too in Europe, in places like Libya, Syria and Egypt where Indian soldiers fought and fell but are not mentioned nor honoured with a monument for their supreme sacrifice.
We now call upon the government of Narendra Modi to ensure this event and the sacrifice of Indians and India is never forgotten and that any commemoration of the contribution and sacrifice of soldiers in World Wars I and II necessarily make distinct mention of the contribution of Indians to the liberation of the west and their then territories hererafter .
LEST WE CONTINUE TO FORGET
I know what you"re saying but the truth is that we were sold out hired guns colonial mosquitos. Polish pilots who fought 2nd WW failed to defend Poland later escaped and fought for Britain. Guess what! They are neither mentioned because they were not fighting for their own homeland- period. Lets admit it... Hindus does not have any credible war history/winnings apart from mere battle skirmishes but they are not enough to get respect outside Indian borders.
