We fly to London from SoCal every summer (because it’s the BEST) and discovered the Dog & Duck in Soho 8 years ago. I mean, there’s a ton of pubs in London, but we’ve thought of that one as our ritual fish & chips w/a Guinness pub. How fun to see “our” pub in your video…made us hoot! Just came across this video. The area has changed alot. I don't think alot of people are aware that the junction of Charing X Rd and Shaftesbury Ave is Cambridge Circus and the junction outside Tottenham Court Rd Tube is St Giles Circus.
American traveling to London - are there certain dress codes to be following from bars to nightclubs? And what is the custom around tipping and using cash vs credit cards at these pubs and clubs? Thank you!

The only place in Soho that has cheap beer is Wetherspoons “The Moon under Water” pub

So what I’ve learnt after living here for 5 months and seeing your video is that there is no nightlife in London 🤣🤣.
Oh there definitely is! Just not as much as some other cities.
Most of the video was in day light . Night life was very short.
This was filmed in the summer, when it stays light till 10pm. Filming much later than that would be difficult to avoid faces and it would be too busy.
In London during summer even at 10 pm it's light can't help🙂

We filmed this in the summer when it's light until 10pm. If we filmed much later it would be too busy for us to shoot anything.
