Looks awesome. Thx
Thank you for a wonderful journey through this product. The editing, narration and overally quality of the content delivery is a pleasure to watch. Bravo.
Is the rudder twist also a hall effect sensor ?
It looks like an excellent product. As an FSX simmer, I bought most of my hardware at the end of its life cycle. Most of them work perfectly, however they are showing their age. Thanks for sharing! It is great to see how much product variability we have today!
It has terrible centering mechanism. Very non-linear forces. Even much cheaper sticks do better. TB somehow forgot to make basic functionality right.
What did you use for the prop condition levers?
Any idea if these will release with a left hand version? Most planes have throttle stacks in the right hand, yokes or sticks in the left. Making the swap is like a righty writing with the left. Would like to use to help supplement flight training but that detail is holding me back. Throws off flows and muscle memory.
Hey, can I use the stick for rudder
This, or VKB gladiator premium and a throttle unit (i dont know which, if u know one below 200 pr about 200 pls tell me) i need some help assembling my first flight setup. and dont wanna spend much. also, should i get rudder pedals?
I bought one to replace my T16000M Hotas for Star Citizen. Build quality is very good but I have small hands and some buttons on the throttle and stick I could just not reach without stretching my hands which was annoying. Also, I use the rocker switch on the T16000M throttle as strafe up/down and I like that setup A LOT. I immediately missed my rocker switch and it only got worse over time. Ended up returning it and got my money back.
When I see this, I really wish you could fly the DA42 with “my version” of the VelocityOne Flightstick. Together with my sensitive “two fingers spring mod” (Turtle Beach Discord Channel/ DIY) realistically controlled left-handed, you would probably never want to fly the DA42 with your VelocityOne Flightdeck again!
I listen to you a lot and i bought this in the place of my X52. But it wont work out of the box. So a bit dissapointed to say the least. Can you explain how you got yours working please?
Get Sim Update 15 Beta, they have this support. This will be released anyway tmrw
Is this now plug and play with MSFS 20? I read reviews that you have to program every single button and I just don't have time for that.
Sim Update 15 has this support, plug and play works on it.
I cant get mine to work On msf?
Did you get SU15 Beta as mentioned earlier?
My velocity one flightdeck arrived today, all 3 switches on the base were sheared off when I opened the packaging. Ordered direct from Turtle Beaches website. What a Beach.....put my claim in wont hear anything until Monday probably.
I just wish that you could buy either the stick or throttle alone, instead of both. All I need is the stick. Already have throttles and quads.
I think that this is intended more for someone who is getting (back) into the hobby and needs an entire setup, or who has a low-budget set like the Thrustmaster T.16000M. I would expect more knowledgable people to go for VKB, Virpil or Winwing.
I bought one last week and I love it. It's fantastic for Elite Dangerous, but man, trying to get it configured for MSFS was such a pain I gave up. That's more to do with Asobo rather than the HOTAS though.
How are you satisfied with its centering mechanism and non-linear forces? How easy is to deflect stick like only one millimeter on side?
Has anyone with the TB Velocity One Flight Deck been able to get any of the Scroll Wheel Axis to work? On both the Throttle and Joystick? I can get them to work as buttons when they have that option, but not as Axis? Maybe they will work when MSFS SU15 hits as they are adding support for the TB Flight Deck, and a few others.
Check SU15 Beta, it worked for me. If you wait for a few days, we will have SU15.
@@simflightpro Thanks I'll try after the SU15 update. Hoping the pictures of the hardware show up too?
Unfortunately no, they have been slow on that plus it’s a learning curve for me to setup the joystick accurately.
@@simflightpro Well for MSFS SU15 is suppose to add support for the Flight Deck, so just maybe we can get them to work after that in MSFS. But I can't get them to work in DCS World either. Maybe an new Update from TB is needed, who knows. But overall I really like it so far. Still a ton to learn though. I have learned that some things are just figuring it out as it is a brand new product release. And it also depends on the customer. Some like it and some don't. That's true for almost any device.
My honey combo still impressive in24
all looks amazing, but no force feedback or vibration! why
Because of a patent troll that asks exorbitant amount of royalties on force feedback flightsticks... but the patents have been made public... but because of the afformentioned troll.. it has become a niche to get force feedback flight sticks.
I don't get it, it does have vibration? You can test it with the software that comes with it. Indeed no force feedback tho.
@@zakzwijn8410 It has some rumble feature, but only when you reach a treshold on one on the throttles, like 85% to indicate that the afterburners will kick in after that point.
Bad, very bad. After two days, the three position switch has broken with hardly any use. I love the design but we will have to wait for some things to improve. You cannot launch such a fragile product on the market for 400€. A huge disppointment
Then let's scrape together every cent and wait for the next "Black Friday" .... 😏 Thank You @Chickamagalur, my brother, for presenting us this controller! And yes, have fun with it! Best regards!
