How to fix rocksmith:
Go to your windows sound devices after plugging it in and go to levels. It defaults to 17. Crank that to 100 then you'll never miss a note.
I feel like some people actually did this and never told us it was a joke. :x
Every time I crank it, it drops back to 17
Did a research a while ago and discovered that Rocksmith fixes it as 17 🤦♂️
@@korayem yeah you have to do it every time you start the game. You can probably make a batch file to change windows sound of that adapter to make it easier
@@JollyRogers102 it's not a joke sadly. Most PCs default to 17 I'm assuming because of administrator privileges for the adapter. Or it was on ubisoft's side by accident.
If you dont have some heavy humbuckers the game doesnt register well. Even with humbuckers I still have problems

For the lag, have you tried calibrating the guitar. When you tune, there’s a calibration option.
It don't do anything really. It barely helps. There is still an evident lag as I have trouble keeping up and find myself playing faster than what the audio is playing

calibrating is for volume. For lag you go to settings and somewhere you can find lag correction.
He should get a sound card, that's the only thing that will fix it.
Low lag bluetooth transmitter from the optic output and low lag aptx bluetooth headphones sorts the lag.

You can stop the lagg by installing drivers that can handle it (ASIO Audio Stream Input/Output), a good one is ASIO4ALL it works on like almost any pc.
(I use it for recording music without lagg)
And this is why I never got this game.

I got a guitar couple of days ago. Didn't have those drivers installed. I am having no lag/delay issues at all. Maybe The Doo is not using the Realtone cable?

I use a Y connection on my guitar cord and send one signal to my amp and the other to the ps4 and then mute the games guitar. Works great for zero lag to my ears. And the game still scores everything pretty accurately. Another bonus is you use YOUR guitar sound.
To eliminate lag set your speaker default format to 16 bit, 48000 Hz DVD quality and your rocksmith cable to 1 channel, 16 bit, 48000 Hz DVD quality. If you google rocksmith 2014 latency pc there's an official post on the forums with the instructions. It worked for me. I hope it works for you too :)

It rarely helps as I have the game. Doesn't do much to help w the lag
so i've noticed lately, that there is a very very small delay at all times... But if the delay ever gets more than that, I restart the ps4, not just the game.. Once I get back into the game, it will seem much more responsive..
I get a delay too but then again I'm playing the pc version so my lag could be caused by anything.

But (not much knowledge on how accurate the charting is for drums are with an actual electric kit is when trying to play a song on guitar hero) isn’t this game really supposed to give the closest experience to actually playing a song on a guitar than it is when you play with a real electric kit on rock band or guitar hero.

So hilarious that you played White Lion. They came to a Bar in Dundalk Md. And I was their driver for the evening and they had me find them a rave party to go to after the show. This was in like 2007 and I was only 24. They were some of the most party drugged up old dudes I've ever seen. It was awesome. The show was great too.
Yes kazoo metal is a thing, cardinal and papa from ghost used a kazoo for some of their acoustic concerts.

Hey Dooo, there's some stupidly expensive cable made for this game. It's essentially a 1/4 Jack to USB. Just plug it right into your PC or Xbox or whatever and it picks up way better than a mic, as well as little to no delay. Just want to through that out there. As always, I love your content, and keep up the insane work!

Download asio4all and put it to 512 frames
my theory is that the cable has a component which converts the signal into mida data, which would allow the system to know what notes you are playing, so Its probably a 1/4 to usb cable and also a midi converter

Since your ears are so musically trained i doubt you will ever be able to reduce the lag to a point where you don't notice it but apparently there is an issue that can cause unintended lag and there is a fix for it somewhere on the internet. I don't notice any lag when I play but I'm using the guitar that came bundled with the game and I'm also super new to guitar playing so maybe I just don't notice the lag.
