Personally I'm glad they didn't do an eclipse cookie, it's been so overdone, I don't understand why everyone is acting like we've never had an eclipse before lol. I definitely appreciate that you use taste comparisons to let us know if we may like something or not!
Absolutely agree with you both. You can only tell us what it's supposed to be and what your experience was on this occasion. I greatly respect your humor, integrity, and honesty! So much so, that companies don't always like to keep providing samples because you don't make stupid faces and rave about mediocre cookies like marketers want. I don't respect companies that don't respect customers and honest folk.
I heard Crumbl changed the Cinnamon Fry Bread cookie name to Scone. Scones are widely known in Utah as another name for fry bread. I don’t think they meant for this cookie to be like a tea scone.
For them not to have the cookies ready at 8 am is absolutely unacceptable even more at 8:40 am. Your store definitely needs a little help! 😊 The Scone vid was funny. I thought for sure they would do an eclipse cookie. I like that cookie dough grittiness. So I’m definitely getting that one along with the Monster cookies. The others just sound okay. Thank for a great review.
My daughter and I believe the lemon and the chocolate cookies DO represent the eclipse. They might have not used the name - eclipse cookies- since Monday is the first day of the week and the eclipse will be only a memory by the end of the week. By the way I like the way you represented the sunshine today. Love the color YELLOW.
The cinnamon scone was called Frybread. My guess is they changed it because Frybread is too colloquial a term so they changed it to something more familiar to customers.
@@TamiDunn no, I understand they use clotted cream but places in the US do this. I’m assuming this is the Americanified way which is still a scone haha. Personally, I like biscuits better. Scones are always too dry for me
@@deanna3223 That's why I asked! We have had afternoon tea each time we visited the UK and they never have cinnamon anywhere on the table. I figured this was the American version.
The Chinese restaurant we order from has two chefs… and they both cook their own version of each meal… I never know what version I’m going to get until I try it… both are really good… but so different they could be different entrees… lol
The chocolate cookie look good with the frosting in it just tastes like a normal sugar cookie and I really do like the Lemon Bar cookie I don't know about the cinnamon want you to but they taste so good
The lemon is the only thing Id eally want to try from these but with the nearest location 45 minutes away it just doesn't seem like the juice is worth the squeeze yet. If I could find a week where there were like three flavors I liked out of the five then it might be worth the drive up. Even then theyd have to be good to make these prices make sense! I prefer the fruit-based cookies. The raspberry one you had on a week or two ago looked phenomenal!!
If we didn’t have this channel, we would never buy these. To be fair though, we wouldn’t go to Krispy Kreme or ice cream shops either. I would just as soon eat a Reese’s 😉
I'm am definitely going to crumbl to grab a 6 pack of thr cookie dough!! Its been my favorite so far. I freeze them individually with the foodssaver. They freeze beautifully.
I think they are confusing people with local Utah food. My mom is from England and so I’ve had plenty of real scones - but I grew up in Utah, and here, a scone is basically fry bread with honey butter or cinnamon. Utah scones are pronounced with a hard O.
Great vid! I completely agree with the cookies vary by the location and how well they follow the recipes/skill level. I had the oatmeal skillet last week and it was awful! It was not gooey as described . It was hard and reminded me of a crunchy granola bar. The texture of the mousse was weird but I did get the vanilla pudding texture one of you got as well. We didn’t finish hardly any of it and tossed it. I’m skipping this week and thinking of only getting a cookie here and there and only a flavor I’ve tried before. They’re too expensive to risk trying new flavors.
SCONE! 😂 You would just have to pay more for a "eclipse" cookie... It would probs just have been a black/white cookie. They didn't forget... it's plastered everywhere 😂 but I am sorta happy they didn't fall into that trap... or rather put it on the customers. I would eat any of these
I read online, (actually I think I saw a screenshot someone posted in the comment section of your CZcams Facebook page), that the Cinnamon Scone was "previously named Cinnamon Frybread" so that would explain why it doesn't taste like a scone. So odd that they just changed the name without actually changing the recipe.
That top looks pretty on you, Tammy. It's very flattering. Good to see your video today, at first I thought maybe you weren't going to do a video this week because you've already reviewed these flavors in the past.
I am surprised they didn't do an ECLIPSE. Inspired cookie. But all the cookies look good. 😋. And surprised Crumble cookies has not come out with a plant Based cookie.
@@TamiDunn i have to agree with victoriaminjeur7856, choco chip are NOT specialty cookies, its the same observation as you stating that when a cookie is called a CAKE and you think it should be called a cookies (which I do agree with you) but Milk choco chip and semi sweet are NOT in anyway a so called 'specialty cookie' no matter what the app says,, lol,,

They need to change it to something Americans are familiar with :) They unfortunately missed the mark with the words "scone" and "cupcake" this week.
I think the cinnamon scone is the previous cinnamon fry bread-just renamed.
My favorite would be the monster.
Here we pronounce it scone instead of scon.
Different regions.😉
The monster was my favorite texture :)
scones I've had sometimes have a cinnamon butter on the side

It is what they were thinking there’s a video on Facebook of the lemon and chocolate cooking mimicking an eclipse
It’s so strange they never mentioned it.

Yeah, you would think they would want to be relatable to everyone. 😃
Agreed. It’s the same when they do Aggie mint after a Utah State University ice cream flavor. No one outside of Utah knows what that means.
