For those who don't know, he didn't say 100 rupees. He said 1 hazar, which Is 1000. 100 would've been fine in this case but 1000 is over ten times the normal price. He was trying to rip Dale off.

@@icywater5733well…i looked up how far he was traveling from Kolkata to Wellington it’s about 5-6 mins away in a vehicle…so 100 rupees isn’t really expensive for the short ride. BUT since the hard working man is literally walking…it would take about 20 mins plus..so 100 rupees is actually a low ball..which is the reason i hate this youtuber. Imagine have to walk & pull someone in a wagon…that’s about 120+ pounds on your back plus luggage…i would’ve gave him 1000 rupees.

I m from Kolkata and they usually charge 50 to 60 . Even 100 is not that expensive depending on the destination but it’s mostly due the physical labour they have to do while pulling the rickshaw 😊

He was giving a fair price, it's hard work pulling a wooden cart by hand on asphalt with track ridges in between. Not to me tion the hard time they have competing with modern amenities and vehicles.
Bargaining with them should not be done, other places say, overpriced shirts etc but when one is giving hard work into it, good service the money should be expected.
