      They were and still are very popular here in Buffalo, NY, too. I've gone to their last 2 concerts when they played here. Once in June 2019, and they returned on March 6, 2020, right before the whole world turned upside down. Love CTS. I've been a fan since 1975.

    "Ice" is their signature song, and a reaction to the studio version would make some people very happy!

    This group was soooo popular in Baltimore for MANY YEARS. It's difficult to figure out how they could get that popular in one city and then be almost completely unknown throughout most of the country. You can still hear them from time to time on our Classic Rock station.

    • @Deborahtunes
      @Deborahtunes Před 3 lety +1

      It was because there was a mix-up with the distribution of their first Lp, and somehow, they all wound up in Baltimore. But CTS's first record label really screwed the band over too. Also consider the band was from West Virginia, which isn't far from Maryland. Just a short trip up I-70..

    King’s X is another incredible band that should be huge but for some reason since having a fairly popular hit on MTV in 1989 just never got on radio and like CTS that’s a crime because this trio is phenomenal especially live. My favorite song is Lost In Germany but you may wanna start with the one MTV played Over My Head. 1988-present they recorded 15 studio albums,2 dvds and 1 live album. Their drummer, Jerry Gaskill grooves like no one else. I think they will get your attention in a very big way.

    Yes was a good comparison (and you can add in Rush, too) although I think CTS has better songs. As others have said CTS still sells out many shows in Baltimore, WV, and Pittsburgh. While not making it too big outside the mid-Atlantic region, there music is superb and performances outstanding. First saw them live in 1980 and as recently as last year. Looking forward to many more years of enjoyment and thank you for picking these songs.
