  • In a previous video we asked our viewers if Dialpad is good or bad. My team and I finally had a chance to experience a Dialpad VOIP demo and here is what we think about their voip phone service.

    As the business owner, can you see all messages sent to the phone line like Google voice? I have an employee who answers calls and messages and I want to be able to see the text messages they send to our clients-live as they are occurring. I use Ring Central now and the only way for me to do that is to pay another $50 for the, to be added as a user

    • @RichTechnologyGroup
      @RichTechnologyGroup  Před rokem +1

      YES you absolutely can see all the messages sent and much more with Dialpad. It's an excellent interface. One of the best we work with in the business, and they are always advancing it!

    Great review. Does dialpad offer 3-way calling?

    • @RichTechnologyGroup
      @RichTechnologyGroup  Před 2 lety

      Hi Calvin. Most of the major VOIP service providers, including Dialpad, allow 3-way calling, however if you have a phone that supports it on their system you can also get 5 way calling capability at no extra charge. We've seen this on some Yealink and Poly IP phones but keep in mind that's dependent on if the phone supports it, but yes 3-way does work on Dialpad on the mobile app and on an IP Phone.

    Thanks Prince,
    What's your thoughts on a comparison between Dialpad & Nextiva?

    • @RichTechnologyGroup
      @RichTechnologyGroup  Před rokem +2

      Hi Dominic, that's a great question. To keep it short and sweet - Nextiva is better on price typically than Dialpad and has a lower user/extension count minimum than Dialpad. Dialpad's sweet spot is typically 11 extensions/users whereas Nextiva can be 1 or 100,000 users. Doesn't matter. Unlike Dialpad, Nextiva offers a free toll free and fax number for all accounts so that's a savings, HOWEVER Dialpad has superior AI and voice call transcription capabilities in comparison to Nextiva, so if you're looking for something HEAVY AI driven to automate things like crazy, Dialpad is ahead of the curve in this regard. Both Nextiva and Dialpad support Poly and Yealink IP phones, however Nextiva has better compatibility with MORE phone models and they also have their own Nextiva branded phones as well. Also, Nextiva offers FREE IP phones on a 36 month agreement and I do not believe Dialpad does free phone promos. Customer service of both companies is EXCELLENT, so no complaints between the 2 there. FINALLY, both have excellent mobile app and desktop apps, but I'd have to say Dialpad's interface is much more advanced and nice on the eyes. I hope that helps and if you'd like us to get you comparative quotes for both, hit me up via the following link: www.richtechnologygroup.com/contact-us.html

    Hey just ran across your channel! Have you tested Google Voice yet for Auto-Attendant?

    • @RichTechnologyGroup
      @RichTechnologyGroup  Před 2 lety +1

      No we haven't personally tested Google Voice, but I can tell you MANY (hundreds) have contacted us looking to switch from Google Voice to something a little more robust that offers auto attendant, better call handling and a bit more advanced features. Let us know how we can assist here: www.richtechnologygroup.com/contact-us.html

    Good review. Just a clarification on the fax number import. You can bring over your fax number and associate it with an ATA device that you can plug your existing fax machine into, but you can't have your imported number receive to the fax queue tab inside Dialpad.

    How much does Dailpad cost to use?

    • @RichTechnologyGroup
      @RichTechnologyGroup  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi there, that is a loaded question that has many answers with many variables. It depends on the number of users but also depends on it you're using the base UCaaS platform or if you require CCaaS (contact center) features. There are some other factors, but we would need to know a bit more about your business, number of users and specific use scenarios and features desired. You can contact us here for more assistance: www.richtechnologygroup.com/contact-us.html

    • @RichTechnologyGroup
      @RichTechnologyGroup  Před 2 lety +2

      I work directly with their marketing. Yes you are correct, it is there's but it's also powered by Google AI. We work with Dialpad almost daily, in fact we had a live interview with one of their executives last week so stayed tuned for that video in the upcoming days. ☺️

    • @RichTechnologyGroup
      @RichTechnologyGroup  Před 2 lety +2

      Well then that must be more recent than this video, because myself and Sunita were LITERALLY in a meeting with 4 people from Dialpad when they showed us a demo and we saw the real-time speech to text and mood detector and they said, "It's powered by Google AI". I'm sure this will be covered in an upcoming mobile/desktop app demo we hae scheduled with them for next month. 😊

    DialPad or Ring central?

    • @RichTechnologyGroup
      @RichTechnologyGroup  Před 2 lety

      Hmmm! That's a good question. Depends on a lot of factors and variables surrounding your unique business needs, BUT I will say, RingCentral is more feature rich and probably has a better video platform, whereas Dialpad has more advanced AI and voicemail/call transcription and speech to text capabilities. Both mobile apps are incredible with RingCentral's being a little more feature rich, BUT Dialpad's mobile app, in my opinion, is much more user friendly and a little more visually appealing. Drop me a message and let me know if you'd like to chat with us directly for a free consult and we are MORE THAN happy to help you figure out which makes the most sense and get you access to our special pricing: www.richtechnologygroup.com/voip-business-phone-systems.html
