As the veteran of the first trilogy, this scene is very sad. Even though Jack's existence was based around opening the doors, downloading data, or zap the enemies we treated him, as the being that always accompanies us. In here he finally showed that he was not in Delta for nothing, and ended that beast whole career with a style, and the bang. I love how in the final shot, the camera is focused on Kait's necklace but it pans down to the COG symbol on her chestpiece after she rips it off...very symbolic
