Been obsessed with this album since i was 13. Been trying to contact their guitarist and lead singer through Matador records for a while to just thank them for being so formative to my music taste for a while now
Have you heard her other earlier 2 bands Area 51 and Death Wish Kids? total classic punk rage. Modest Mouse and ATDI and many others could’ve been inspirations for a more pop for the masses direction -most talented bands don’t want to keep doing the same thing, guess why they break up I suppose.
I remember playing Bring It On Golden Pond loud in my dorm room and it felt so good and my neighbor from two doors down came and asked me to turn it down and I turned it down
The CD I had didn't have those last 4 tracks, there were just 9 songs. Cool to hear those. (I looked into it and I guess those last 4 were their first EP they tacked onto later versions)
I also have the original CD release from Lookout Records, and only (9) tracks. However, I was reading an old article today about PGMG Final Show and the *Matador Records Reissue/ Remastered Version of the "Good Health" LP × 4 BT from their "extended player" (ep) released prior...check out **Murder City Devils (if not already heard)
Wow!!! Was looking for more Help She Can’t Swim songs and got thrown this by YT. About halfway through the first song and I can tell this is gonna be one of of my favourite bands!!!
man i'd like to get a copy of this album. been hooked on the first album for over 10 years and i had no idea this record existed...despite looking?!? this band is fuckin' amazing...i wish they were still playing!! The drummer is up there with Jon Bonham in my opinion...
They're from their self-titled 1st ep that was released on Dimmak, Steve Aoki's record label. I saw them a bunch and always wished they'd play Head South but they never did. I think it had to do with Andrea's voice.
I really wish this album was on Spotify. Really wish they would reunite in the future

I forgot how great these guys were. I still have a crush on Andrea Zollo.
Same!
Same
4 years late, but hell yes. Way bigger crush on Leona Marrs though. Oooof.
This is antithetical to my usual type of music. Yet, I greatly enjoy this.
So awesome
I really wish these cats would reform, but I think some of them are in more-famous bands, so it seems unlikely
ffs will someone upload a PGMG discography or atleast just this album.
I saw them once in Minnesota
PGMG

ATDI with a chick on vocals
A MT Pretty much lol.
Definitely sounds like older atdi with chick vox. Pre incasinoout
Biggest female atdi possibility is elad love affair. Totally like cedric and guitars like Omar and jim
why is that a bad thing???
