I Rented a Powerboat to Visit the Toronto Islands

We tour Toronto Islands in a powerboat- basically a small motorboat.
Powerboats can be rented from the Harbourfront Centre (info: www.harbourfron... or 416-203-3000) as long as you have a drivers license.
It's a really fun way to enjoy the harbour- and not as intimidating as you might think. Operating the boat is simple and navigating around the harbour is very straightforward. It's a great way to experience the islands.
This would be really fun for:
1. Parents taking their kids - I didn't think to say this on the video but I think kids would LOVE doing this.
2. Dates - This would be a really fun thing to do for a date. Instead of dropping $80 on a dinner or a night at a cocktail bar, take your date to the Toronto Islands to see the sunset.
3. Showing a visitor Toronto - Being on a boat in the harbour was a first for me and I was surprised at how dramatic the views of the skyline are from a small boat. It feels different from being on the Toronto Islands ferry somehow.
