i see a lot of hate on react these days but these guys 's creativity really melts me. i got into react out of curiosity. every book i was reading would give an example in react and one day i was, damn let me look at that framework. that time i was working as a vue dev and a few days into looking into how react works i decided to quit my vue job. back then react was harder to use than vue, and the tech was all over the place, there was even redux which was literally as big as react itself in terms of time to learn it but the developer experience was just beautiful. i used to call it "next js" before i learnt about next js framework because i thought that is how future JavaScript would look like.
Hmm now we’re getting somewhere. After seeing StyleX, practically a copy of React Native’s Stylesheet, this new cross platform component wrapper might be a very bright idea to make StyleX a promising initiative. But Tailwind is so mature now, also NextJS is “the way” thanks to app router, I’m wondering how this new approach would find a middle ground while utilizing all those great features. Definitely intriguing experiment though, kudos to React Team. And thanks for sharing Max!
hi max ,
a course about design patterns would be very useful to understand the why's and how's
please, make a course about design pattern specific in js world
with your clear explanation i think make it vary easy to understand
thanks
hi guys , thinkin to buy this course of yours "React, NodeJS, Express & MongoDB - The MERN Fullstack Guide" on youtube
will this help me to learn how to save images to the mongodb?
thank you for the video
for those saying expo can do the same, you are right but expo to web is a good solution for an expo dev who is supporting web as secondary but if you are react dev ie a react dom dev then going to native as secondary makes this tool gold.
please any ETA for Angular 17 course ?
Can't you already target web with expo?
Expo can do it?
Yea yes, multi platform using single codebase is totally possible with expo
But I think it's for static sites only not very dynamic ones
Now you use web DOM-like elements for both web and native. Where expo uses native element not web elements, which is limited in what you can do on web.
👍
❤ you Max
i think expo now is the best option to achieve this
expo?
Imagine using react native 😂
Flutter wins
Always flutter will be the winner 😉
Lol. It's almost dead.
