English should be the medium of instructions.Besides we have a filipino subject and we still can use tagalog in filipino subjects.Thats what I had when we were in elementary and hi school and college.Our teachers and professors used English in the classroom but we learned our mother tongue during filipino subjects.

Other countries have very good model where teachers, doctors, nurses etc are the persons who are mandated to report to child protection agency when they suspect child abuse, whether physical, emotional, etc. If they don't report, they have legal liability. Give the responsibility to the appropriate experts. DSWD who have psychologists I suppose takes care of this kids & safehouses etc.

We are not beginners that want to know English in fact we are living in the world now in which our culture in communication fits the needs of every aspects in our society to have a better life like for example in the business sector in which english is being used to easily understand and communicate foriegn investors. Kung itigil yan so maguumpisa na naman tayo muli na kailangan natin kumuha ng interpreter para makipagtransact sa mga investor from other countries. So kailanagan pa nga natin ito iimprove pa dahil marami parin sa ating mga Filipino ang hirap makipag communicate when it comes to speaking english language tapos tatangalin pa at papalitan na lang ng Filipino. Ang Filipino subject ay manatili dapat dahil simbolo yan na tayo ay may identity na tayo ay nagkakaisa at malaya dahil tayo ay may isang wikang ginagamit kahit marami tayong ibat ibang dialect o diyalekto.Kailangan pa ba pagdebatihan yan o magfocus na lang kayo kung paano baguhin yung batas para mapanagot ang mga korap na opisyal ng gobyerno dahil sa ngayon walang nakakulong o napaparusahan na may kinalaman sa paglustay ng pondo ng bayan

We still are far and away one of the if not the best asian country for learning english. India might have more english speakers but the accent and dialects are too thick and far from what most westerners are used to thus most english learners prefer not to go there to study the language, while vietnam only has around 50% of their population that speak the language. The philippines is the 3rd largest english speaking country in the world, and around 95% of our population have some proficiency in english, not to mention some filipinos having a more american or neutral accent thus making it easier to understand.

Jos ko day. Milyun confidential for security. Gamitin na lang sa pagbuild ng classrooms sa mga bundok, sa remote places . Mag provide ng airconditioning sa bawat classrooms dahil climate change. Ganoon lang kasimple. Kung gusto nila ng safety maginstall ng mga camera sa classroom at maghire ng cctv tech to monitor cameras.

Mother tongue and Filipino dialects can be learned at home and by day-to-day conversation. Besides there are virtually no expert teachers on mother tongues. We may have some who are good at Filipino/Tagalog but this dialects are short of vocabulary when it comes to math and science. It's not for everybody to master them.

Why not spend the budget for the building of more classrooms, hire more teachers and procure books, laboratory equipment rather than spend in security and intelligence. Let the PNP, NICA, NBI, ISAFP and other intelligence gathering units do that job.

Instead of ROTC, why not BOY SCOUTING? If you will study seriously, Scouting is geared to the development of a well-rounded person thru its MERIT BADGE SYSTEM.
I am a graduate of SCOUT WOODBADGE COURSE (SWBC #72) and TRAINING THE TRAINERS COURSE (TTC) and was a National Trainor of the BOY SCOUT OF THE PHILIPPINES.
I was a graduate of ROTC. What did I learn from it? Sat under the sun listening to lectures of speakers who were officers but were not masters of their subject matters. Actually, I gained nothing from it except sunburned skin and headaches due to sunstroke. Oh yes! Drills and formations for parade participations.
So, there is more benefit to our youth in SCOUTING than in ROTC, if only DepEd will support this program.
