    Loved the Dehaze trick! I usually do with a soft round white brush, or and levels adjustment, but using the camera raw filter looks interesting. I've got to try that. Awesome video, Steven! 🙌

    I loved it! These types of renders are highly sought after at universities and unfortunately, there aren't many tutorials on YT that share the full process of creating an image like this from beginning to end. Makes it feel attainable to us students haha! Thanks, Steven

    I think the fog is a little too uniform. The render needs more atmosphere perspective where the mountains are the farthest away and more separation between the building with now fog on the main building especially toward the top.

    Why did you make the image green in the end LOL would've looked so much nicer if you kept it the dark blue before you used camera raw or if you did an orange/blue color scheme! Great render tho!

    • @ShowItBetter
      @ShowItBetter  Před 3 lety +1

      haha, three hours into the image your brain tends to play tricks on you....so maybe it was that? Or maybe I unconsciously like green more.

    • @studio22a34
      @studio22a34 Před 3 lety

      @@ShowItBetter Images are always subjective so if you like the green more then more power to you lol! Maybe it’s like you said and my brain just liked the blue more haha. I think if you wanted to push the photo realism more than maybe go back to a more natural blue, a little less lightening of the shadows, and focus more on the getting the side of the building with the reflection perfect (this is where my eye immediately goes). But I do love the stylized render you have here, reminds me of the matte painting renderings of arqui9 :)

  • @tradentravel
    @tradentravel Před rokem

    Lumion is really great for ease of use but doesn't quite reach photorealism, needs a personal, artistic touch of color and composition ie. Alex Hogrefe. I value the ability to render quickly but still add a personal signature and style. Photorealism is nice but too impersonal with a steep learning curve. Looks very nice. The kid on the roof also had that personal artistic touch same as this one. I'm going that route.

    Can you please suggest me one thing as an architecture student should i learn lumion or twinmotion. I am from India here I don't think no one is using twinmotion. I am too much confused which softwares should I learn. It would be great to get your suggestions and help.

    • @ShowItBetter
      @ShowItBetter  Před 3 lety +1

      The short answer: whichever fits your budget and computer requirements best. Long answer: Right now Lumion is a bit better than twinmotion in many aspects, but it’s also a bit more expensive. If you want faster results with little effort, Lumion could help you, but hey maybe in the future this can change ! And twinmotion can dominate the market. The thing is, it is best if you learn general process and colors and not techniques specific to a software
