Hello Sir, for Architect which is better ? I mean for rendering like Lumion, D5 render. Rtx 3080 ti 16gb vram laptop vs rtx 4080 12gb vram laptop ? Thanks!
Perfect timing, this is just what I needed for my next project.
Perfect Mike! Glad I can help :)
A tutorial for lighting would be awesome!
I really liked all of the night renders you created, There is quite a big improvement in the rasterization effect of renders from the previous versions of Lumion. I will also try to produce renders like these for my this semester project. Thank You for Making such Tutorial videos, this really helps a lot.🔥🔥🔥😊
Thanks Nikhil! The image quality is really much better! Let's wait and see if ray tracing can also get this good :)
Q perfeito, quando eu crescer quero ser assim😍
Exactly the video i needed before the end of my senior year, this is gonna be so clutch
cool Diego! looking forward to see the results!
Thanks. Really helpful
Glad it was helpful!
Could you do a video exclusively on lighting
Also your favourite trees
plz make a full video of each details on animation in lumion
can you please share the models you work on with i cant find them on 3d ware house
Hello Steven. First of all I'm a big fan of yours because you have been really helpful to me throughout the years. Secondly I wanted to ask you since you have mentioned about your laptop in the beginning of the video, I want to purchase this new laptop from Asus called the Zenbook pro 14 with RTX 4070. What is your take on the machine? Should I get it? My workflow mainly includes D5 and Lumion. I really want to try corona render though in the future if that system allows.
Thanks and Regards
hey! thanks for writing. Lets start with saying that the 4070 is a beast! That being said it marks 19,783 points in the benchmark test (a test that rates your gpu versus all the others). My current one 3080ti laptop, is around 20,451 points. There is not really that much difference. It can definetly run D5 and lumion. Now it depends much more on what projects you will work with. If in general these are not highly detailed projects, or large scale urban projects than you wont have any issues. This can run that fine. Now regarding Corona, I'm not really sure what specs you need, so If I was you I would look into that
can you please share the models you work with, i want to work on rendering but i cant find them on 3d ware house so please share it here and also the lumion software file
🔥🔥
cheers Jafar!
@showitbetter please upload the video of lighting system of lumion
what would you like to see specifically?
Suggest a laptop to handle Lumion and point clouds that are no less than 30gb
great, but i noticed on my rendering if im using ray tracing there is no reflection of the trees and plants on my glass windows, looks weird but how is that? do you have idea?tnx
great video!
as a beginner im always wondering what the most possible way to have that realistic rendering with low specification PC? (i cannot even open lumion. only have 0 to 5 FPS xD). currently i only depends on creating architecture like house/interior design in skectup > render with v.ray > doing post production with adobe photoshop. and your channel help me to find out to maximize my results
Hey! I complete understand your POV. For now, until you get a better setup I would recommend looking for other alternatives and looking for other software. Programs like Enscape can also help. Although when you get the chance it would be really cool if you can try Lumion :)
@@ShowItBetter ah i see.. thanks for replying! I will try looking for enscape and grub some money first to upgrade my setup then ! xD
@@ShowItBetter brother... until now all your project still use ryzen gen 3 like the description?
@@cador1624have a look into virtual workstations
Can you please tell me how I can do an animation or animated phasing that shows the wall dissolving from opaque to transparent? Right now the only phasing animation I can find is pop in, sky drop, ground rise
I have the same idea as you
Let there be light!
yessssssssssssssssss
❤❤❤
thanks for such an amazing video, but for some reason i cannot download the resource file it keeps showing "error403 forbidden"
That is strange Ajay! try this link and let me know if it works: showitbetter.gumroad.com/l/cymyw

How lightning works in lumion
ANOTHER BRILLIANT TUTORIAL AS USUAL!! WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE A DETAILED LOOK AT HOW LU23 LIGHTING WORKS AS I CANT SEEM TO MAKE IT WORK, SO MUST BE DOING SOMETHING DRASTICALLY WRONG, PLEASE HELP!

how to make google map +buildings image share tips
Im update from lumion 10 to the latest to taste the ray tracing , but its doesn't significantly improve :(
I bet you prefer D5 render rtx more than lumion
Great video but Lumion is no longer a tool worth to try. Version 2023 especially raytracing disappoints most of users and the unreasonable price for such an old-school tech product. We’re switching to other engines. If you want to experience real-time visualization, I’d suggest D5 Render, even twinmotion …😢
Thanks for commenting your opinion! 😊
The way I see it is the following: Lumion (before the update) was already a really great tool because of certain things: 1. The library 2. The easy interface 3. Compatibility with low tier computers 4. The FX add ons.
With this new update we can agree that ray tracing is not at its maximum potential, but hopefully will improve and be at par with other softwares. I have tried other programs like D5, Enscape, Vray, and I love all of them for different reasons! But I would still consider Lumion for certain projects, like big scale projects among others...
Let's give Lumion a chance! Let's wait for a few updates in the coming months to see how they turn this around 😊
It's a great software for those who know how to use it.
Only broke boys who couldn't afford license software would cry about how much D5 is better than Lumion.
Yes, D5 is free, but HQ materials and assets are limited...
Meanwhile, Lumion allows you to access their library unlimited if you download a cracked version... That's why I'd rather prefer Lumion over D5 every time...
bro where did you get the buildings around?
they are from the Lumion library!
@@ShowItBetter bro, please, a question I have, I am new to graphic representation and I am using programs like sketchup vray and photoshop and illustrator, it is still difficult for me to understand the issue of render sizes in relation to the radio aspect, for example, if I want a render that enter the size of a sheet of 4, I can render output the pixels of an A4 sheet and it would fit perfectly, but if I wanted this super sharp image I would have to increase the pixels, for example, about 5000 px and in this case I would choose a vertical radius aspect. 4;5 would that be the procedure? because I have exported pdf from sketchup to illustratro with the width of an a2 and when I export from vray to illustrator for an a2 they do not fit well I must be moving, can you please do a tutorial on this topic
I'll pass on this CRACK.. drugs kill boy. do no use Lumion. hahaahah guess lumion did not checked their update dates. Unreal preview 2 just came out yesterday.. OFF I GO... hahaahahahaha so long Lumion.
