    I had the chance to try it out last week @ garda bike festival, this bike is UNREAL! Super quiet, super composed, super smooth on fast chunky rocks and incredible nimble! They persuade easily, bike was setup with just the sag on shock/fork and there you go! Congrats to the R&D team, bike is AMAZING!

    I upgraded to a 2022 Altitude a month ago from a 2016 giant trance advanced. Best decision I ever made.

    So when they update the Powerplay versions it's safe to say it'll have a different suspension layout to the normal mtb version.

      Nope, cheapest is the C50 at $10,200… maybe the A50 might sneak under $8k.

    LOL, any bike manufacturer needs to stop turning the down tube into a storage compartment. That has to be the most useless idea ever created! Bottom line it does not work and everything banging around in there when your riding! Just like internal cabling, absolutely useless and all this is nothing but a gimmick, and this is the problem with bikes today. Stop with all the GIMMICKS!

    • @JFFilmsMTB
      @JFFilmsMTB Před 28 dny

      I ride alone often and for long distances which means carrying tools, a tube, tire levers, CO2's inflator heads, tire plugs, and nutrition. That means I have to either stuff them all into a pack and wear it, or try to attatch it all to the frame. I can tell you I would much prefer that stuff in the bike even if it rattles, than rattling around on me or strapped to the frame. If it rattles I'll just put damping materials around it. Huge quality of life change to have in-frame storage for me.

    • @battistaverardi1240
      @battistaverardi1240 Před 28 dny

      @@JFFilmsMTB lol, buy a quality bounce free back pack. Or even a saddle bag, most of what you said you carry will fit in a saddle bag. And dampening the rattle? Now that is hilarious carrying extra weight for absolutely nothing. Plus why would you want the downtube compromised? Having open space like that weakens that part of the frame where most of the pressure from riding is. This is the most idiotic idea ever!

    • @JFFilmsMTB
      @JFFilmsMTB Před 27 dny

      @@battistaverardi1240 I've worn many hip packs from Dakine, Osprey, and Camelback. It all fits and they didn't bounce. I would rather have the weight down low and not strapped to my waist. A sheet of paper towel weighs about 3 grams and gets the job done fine. I think you might find that a decent hip pack weighs a little more than 3 grams.
      The most pressure on the frame from riding is most certainly not in the middle section on the top of the down tube. That's why the put it there. Have you ever seen bike frame fracture in the middle of a downtube? The current Cannondale Jekyll comes with that section completely removed to reduce weight and bring the center of gravity further down.

    • @battistaverardi1240
      @battistaverardi1240 Před 26 dny

      @@JFFilmsMTB what? Lol! I’ve seen many bike frames crack on the downtube especially in that area! And one of the frames I’ve seen this happen on was a cannondale among others! On an entire frame the down tube has to be the strongest, that is why my 7005 aluminum Jamis Dakar sport ( custom design) is triple gauge.
