writing a book currently and I made the mistake of including a track meet without ever being at one, this is very helpful :')
Do you also go to an American school? Because I'm not an American and write a story that includes a character who's in the track team 😅. I thought Americans already know everything about the stuff that's offered in their schools?
@@barirahgul6402 no I am from europe, I guess the system is roughly similar, but I often find details in vlogs which are quite helpful

my season just ended since i didn’t get to go to state! but although i’m glad i get a break after almost a whole year of running (xc, indoor track and outdoor) i’m still sad bc i love track!

hi hope! currently i run a 5:33 mile but my last mile(about 2 or 3 weeks ago) was 5:45 and i am racing it on monday and am very nervous as my coaches and i both expect me to get a pr. Any tips? what is your mile pr? Also, i only ran the 800 one time this season but i got 2:38-any tios to do better?

I have a track meet in a week, and I was just wondering what should i eat on track days? Should I eat a lot so I am full or do I not eat a lot?
okay for an hour or two before your races i would either not eat or eat light foods so you don't feel weighed down and your stomach doesn't hurt during your races. id def still eat but not super heavy foods, stick more to stuff like toast, bananas, carrots, and things like that. right after your races i'd try to get in some protein, and def be hydrating throughout the day

no i eat pretty much whatever i feel like! the day before and day of races i'll try to be a little more careful about what i eat so that i feel good during my races, but i don't avoid foods for running
I try to run every day. When it is raining I never know what to do. Do I stay in and be lazy or do I layer up and get soaked while
I run. What would you do?
i think it depends on the intensity of the rain and the temperature. if it's not cold i think running in the rain is tons of fun, but if it is cold i wouldn't do you don't risk getting sick. if you have access to a gym or a treadmill/exercise bike that can be great in place of running outside, or just doing some other indoor workout. it's okay to take rest days from time to time too!
