I love how everyone has an opinion on this how "ohh she runs too much, shell burn out by 16" bla bla. Literally, professional athletes are not stupid. Her mother runs marathons. They know what they're doing. She most definitely doesn't run 3 times a day seven days a week. Have a little faith and just give her the fact that she's crazy good and clearly has a passion for the sport. Why are people trying to take anything away from her. Let her do her thing, sorry you're not talented athletes. Stop with the jealously. Instead of "she'll be burnt out by 16", say "wow this girl is crazy in love with her sport, I hope she gets to do it forever". It's called empowerment!

That’s why people, including myself, are concerned. I think that her having a passion so early is awesome. I wish I did that early. But running this much when you’re this young really does make you burn out when you get older. I’ve seen it happen with so many people.

The people that end up on these videos most likely train 3-5 days a week because they don’t want to burn out, at least I hope they don’t want to because these folks are ballers. I think the athletes on these are smart enough to take care of themselves by having off days and lighter workouts. she does seem like a nice person and all, but even with that, there is a pretty common thing among young runners, which is called a burnout. it happens quite a lot. There was a 13 year old boy in the junior olympics who ran a 50 second 400m which if you didn't know, is insanely fast, and most highschool runners never run that fast, only to improve 1 second by his senior year of highschool. This is all coming from a guy her same age, and have ran track nearly half of my life.

I found that most of the so called "haters" are just people giving their opinion based on their experience because they probably have a background in running and T&F like I do. We may be referring to different parts of the video, but when she is running the track intervals, I believe it said a 4:34 pace? Regardless it is a piece of training data that is utilised by a lot of runners. When I do speed work my pace is nearly always faster than what I would typically run in a race, but it is still important data. As a runner I would've presumed you'd know that? I doubt your speed training pace is the pace you run a 5k or 6k, not many athletes can sprint 10/10 effort for that distance...

I think she’s doing to much, but I don’t think it’s because of her age. She’s most likely on eighth grade, but no one should be putting in 3 runs a day and having no rest days.

I am currently 13 and can run 5k in 23:27 as my PB. I would love to go sub 20 minute some day so 19 mins at 13 is pretty amazing. Arielle is an inspiration. She really inspires me to keep running. I think running is so underrated as a sport so people like Arielle really help long distance running to be more recognised. Thank you and well done Arielle!!!
