Join us as we spend our first week exploring Greece and it looks like we are going to enjoy it here. We had forgotten just how beautiful the coastline here in Greece is, and if this past week is anything to go by, we already know it's going to be very hard to leave.

We are the Cookes, Nicola, and Nigel. We love to travel. In 2018 we bought and converted a VW Transporter van and spent 3 years traveling around the UK and Ireland. At the time we also travelled with our beloved cat, Guinness. She was 20. Sadly we lost Guinness in Feb of 2020 and then well the rest of the world went to pot.
After a few 3 month trips to northern Spain and France, In early 2023 we sold our property back in Ireland and hit the road full time. For the remainder of 2023 we explored Spain, Portugal, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.
2024 has us exploring Greece as well as Italy, Slovenia and The Alps ....
This channel will primarily focus on our travels, with the odd smattering of photography and food thrown in for good measure.

The trouble with your vlogs are that the wife and I keep changing our plans, first we followed you to Spain/Portugal. so we have to go there. Then Italy, so we have to go there. And now you take us to Greece, wow, Greece is a must. Love your video's, thanks for sharing guys.

My advice, work over the weekend and take a couple of days off midweek. There will be a lot less people about. Hope Greece brings you what you are looking for❤
Yes we sometimes do indeed that … the flexibility in our jobs helps a lot …
Yeah Greece is one of my very top fave places on earth. Most relaxing and beautiful place with amazing food
The water …. Oh my :) It has gotten fairly pricey now mind you … then again it’s been 15 years since we were here :)

Greece is the best! Me and my partner came two years ago in the beginning of May. It was just before the high tourist season, so many empty/quiet restaurants and shops where we got to interact with so many locals! I feel like it was the best time to go! Amorgos and Naxos were my favourite islands as they are a bit less popular, so it felt like a more authentic experience. Enjoy your time there, I will watch!❤
Yes … we are hoping our timing will allow us to explore with too many crowds … the people are so friendly … the views so stunningly beautiful :)
