After last years finals she is pretty definitively the best player. Best two way player, unstoppable offensive player with two elite playoff runs back to back and has only gotten better as she enters her prime.

@@lastonestanding3417 If you’re familiar with the sport of basketball, you know the deep 2 is the worst shot you can take in the game and most of the brains that teach the Xs and Os of the game coach you to only take that shot at the end of the shot clock. The fact that this coach is encouraging deep 2s alarmed some people, but when she said she’s trying to get Clark to stop taking those deep threes. Ofcourse people would be outraged. Those shots are the reason we watch. She also didn’t mention anything about Clark’s ability to play defense (which is well above average I might add) she’s commenting about her ability to get off the screen in open space. Even if it was a problem, that’s something you discuss in practice, not to the media. There’s a reason Her team was dead last in the East and was able to get the first pick for Caitlin Clark.
