The big five year update - track days, Caterham, and all of the fails

I haven't posted any track day content for almost five years but lots of things have still happened, and much of it wasn't so great. Hopefully this covers all the interesting bits. Onwards and upwards!

I'm sure there's a good couple of seconds on the table still but when every braking zone has something hard to hit quite close in front of you, it's not the easiest place to find confidence.
I use a Racelogic VBOX HD2. I'd say whatever you go with make sure you're able to place the microphone somewhere out of the wind (mine is under the dashboard).

I'm under the impression, that this vehicle is driven so lightly, how does the head gasket fail?

I would say infrequently (relatively at least), rather than lightly. When I do drive it the engine gets worked hard, it's under a lot of stress, but that's what it's designed for. Head gasket failure is a bit more common on this particular type of engine but really any high performance engine is going to fail after a while.
