Being a Doctor I can surely say, doctors are not like her. Also we never date engineers. Imagine coming home after a rough day of seeing bad cases and loss of lives. For true love I don't think that profession really matters. It's a feeling. I think only an Engineer can understand a Doctor. Only they can understand each other and can understand the importance of the profession in their life. Because, they both gone at almost same path in their life to be an Engineer & Doctor. Like, for a wrong diagnosis of a Doctor a patient can die or can happen anything to their life and same for an Engineer a wrong calculation, wrong theory or a misunderstanding can cause of a lifetime failure and may effect to everybody's life, like breaking of civil structures, construction, because of wrong design and selection of appropriate materials and their applications on that project make the project unsuccessful. So, these two professions is very important and challenging profession for day to day life.
You can understand the importance of a Doctor in your daily life, but for the Engineer the thinking of new ideas and their success make an impact for long time on every human's day to days activity. Like, making of engine, phones, design of two and four wheelers, motor... and so on.
That's why a Doctor and a Engineer can understand each other as life partners, can understand their professions and its importance. And they can be a good partner for lifetime.

Well, since she is speaking with respect to the diagram of heart, it has pulmonary arteries that carry deoxygenated blood and hence the darker shade, i am very sure though that this was not the thought behind it , but it came out as a good bluff. The math is the total disaster though!
