3 yrs back I joined a school as a teacher. I didn't used to wear very expensive dress nor did I waste money on expensive lunches from restaurant. So my rest of the colleagues who were also older than me just gathered a perception that I was very poor and they went to the extreme of thinking that I didn't even own a home.
But the reality was that I am a UPSC aspirant and too much talented to be a school teacher. I saved my money for paying my coaching fees, books etc, everybody knows how expensive UPSC preparation is. Also since my father had paid for my studies whole life, this time I wanted to spend my own money on my studies and not bother him.
Successful people don't give a shit about what others think.
It's is called intelligence, a strong mindset. May you succeed in your goals.
